MNet Super 100 Pop Idols, Section TV Top 20 Pretty Boys

I honestly don’t take these things too seriously (and I wish people didn’t get overly worked up about the order :/), but it’s always fun to see who made the list :).

♥ Section TV Top 20 Pretty Boys.  HEHEHEHEHEHE ♥.   They did something like this last year too, I think?  (Or it was a different news station.)  I’m not familiar with everyone on this list, but for the most part I agree — they’re all pretty guys :).  Lee Jun Ki is my personal top pick, though ♥.

♥ MNet Super 100 Pop Idols.  Thanks to damnskippie18 for reminding me about this!  I dunno how they chose artists to be on this (and the lack of BoA is surprising!), but it’s an interesting list~.   I’m happy to see so many of my favorites on this list, lol.  If you don’t want to watch the entire video, I put the full list behind the cut.

Thanks so much to icecreamsoda93 for the heads up!  THIS IS PRETTY FREAKING EXCITING HOMG.  I’ve been waiting for his English album to come out in … what seems like forever.  I love this guy; he is incredibly hard-working, has a great voice and always sings live, and is soooooooooooo nice to his fans.  I’ve read numerous fan accounts where he brings food and drinks out for his fans waiting in line to get into one of his concerts, haha.  Cute ♥.  But anyway, in this promo video, you get to see footage of some old performances, recording, FAN SIGNS (something with Verizon Wireless … I think it was sometime back in May after Hollywood Bowl; he wouldn’t let go of that one fan’s hand omfgggg ♥♥♥), and an interview entirely in English!  He speaks really well :).  And the songs sound catchy; I can’t wait to hear the album.  Is there a confirmed date for that album release yet??

I really, really hope he’ll be successful here.   SE7EN HWAITING ♥.

SBS Gayo Daejun 2007 – Videos

jsdkfljdsklfds ♥♥♥♥♥ This is good stuff to wake up to :). A loooot of videos here, all of them great; but if you only watch one, make that the Big Bang + Wonder Girls musical! Hilarious stuff!

♥ Super Junior – Don’t Don + H.O.T’s 빛. 5-man Don’t Don again. HAHAHA I LOVE THAT THEY ARE DOING THAT SONG IN THOSE ADORABLE OUTFITS. And then they perform H.O.T’s 빛 (which I’m pretty sure I have; I’ll edit this post later) live ^___^. Heechul just has to stand out from everyone else again XDD. But he just looks sooo adorable with the hat and hoodie. Kyuhyun sounds really good in his parts. Eeteuk has that dorky paw he always wears on Sukira. AND YESUNG IS WEARING THOSE CUTE RED GLASSES IN THE Haengbok VIDEO! They’re all so cute jdskfljdsklfjelds ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
♥ K.R. + Donghae + Sunday + Tiffany (SNSD) – Hug. *_____________*. A++++++++++. One of my favorite DBSK songs ever! I’m glad they chose to sing this one … and that they sang it so well! It’s mostly Kyuhyun and Ryeowook (lol where is Yesung?), but everyone harmonizes quite nicely in the background. I love all these performances of old DBSK songs; hopefully it’s sending a message to the Dong Bangs to COME BACK TO KOREA.
♥ Kangin + Sooyoung Jumping Around. THEY’RE BOTH SO CUTE fjksldjfklds. It’s the end of the show, I guess, and they’re both jumping around like little kids. And looking too adorable ^_______^. Oooh and you can see one of the SNSD girls (I think that’s Tiffany…?) side up to the beautiful Lee Hyori (who was a co-MC) and hook arms with her XDD.

♥ CSJH The Grace – SES’s LOVE and U. jdsfklsdjfkdls they’re singing live and they look so beautiful! ♥ I love their outfits gahhhh. (I couldn’t find a cut of their performances, but this clip is all the SM performances – SuJu, SNSD, CSJH.) They did great justice to the song, imo. I LOVE THEM *fangirls*. Oh and at the end of the clip, I could see Sunday holding hands with Donghae and Hankyung ♥♥♥. They’re all so sweet.
♥ Stephanie’s Solo Performance. ISN’T SHE AMAZING? I know some people don’t like her low voice, but I think it’s awesome! It’s sort of refreshing from all the high-pitched and cutesy ones. Great performance and she looked so hot! I loved that slide-down-to-the-floor move; good god, that was hot.

♥ F.T Island + Younha; Super Rookies. WOWWWWWW. I’m starting to really like Younha; her version of Magic Castle was gorgeous. I really like that she sings and plays the piano at the same time. And Jonghoon comes to play the piano! This was the first time I’ve seen/heard him play the piano and he plays Way Back Into Love! That was the central song of Music and Lyrics, starring Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore and … yeah, I looooove that song. And then they sing something else (I don’t know the name of it…) and sjdfklsjfkdl they’re all so good at what they do.
♥ SeeYa + Cho Shin Sung + F.T Island + SG Wannabe; Sweet Harmony. I love all four artists listed here ~ I spazz over F.T Island the most, but they’re all artists I really enjoy listening to. (Cho Shin Sung is a relatively new boyband and their first album was actually a really nice surprise. I’m always a bit skeptical about new boybands, but they’re really good. I’ll upload some of their songs when I have time.) SeeYa and Cho Shin Sung do Britney Spears’ Toxic. Well, actually the SeeYa girls do and Cho Shin Sung is just their backup dancers :(. They’re really good dancers, but they’re got lovely voices as well ~ I wish they at least had microphones to sing for the last song. F.T Island’s HongKi and Wonbin sing with SG Wannabe for the second part of it. Loooooved that rendition of Maria.

♥ Wheesung + Fly To The Sky + Eru; 4Men For Music. 4 extremely talented guys singing *_______*. The harmonization positively kills, you guys. AND THEY DANCE TOO! Really well, imo. It’s always fun to see typically R&B or ballad singers dance.

♥ Shinhwa; part 1, part 2. I have raved about Shin Hye Sung and Kim Dong Wan’s special stages and solo performances before, but it’s actually reaaaaaaally nice to see all 6 of them singing together. Especially when you think about how long they’ve been together! They look and sound GREAT ♥♥♥♥♥♥. I love that they sang TOP. (The SuJu boys performed it at the 2005 MKMF, at about 1:30 into THIS VIDEO. Check out Heechul’s pretty hair ^^.) Plus, they all look like they’re having so much fun out there.

♥ Big Bang + Wonder Girls; Musical. OH MY GD. HACKING A LUNG HERE. I CAN’T WAIT TO DOWNLOAD MY OWN COPY. Really funny and sweet, plus I loved how all the songs were incorporated! Quite genius, actually! DAESUNG IS SO CUTE. OMGOSH. I love when he does his “faint-and-fly-away” thing, if you know what I mean XDD. He’s adorable. And TOP too! And G-Dragon! (His hair is so silky~.) And TaeYang! (I didn’t see Seungri…?) THIS IS THE BEST KIND OF DORKY, I SWEAR. A++++. Still don’t know all the names of the Wonder Girls, but they look really pretty here. And they match well with Big Bang. sdjfklsdjfkldsjfklds ♥♥♥♥♥.
♥ Big Bang + 1TYM + Jinusean + Se7En + CL; Freedom & Soul; part 1, part 2. YG really knows how to put on a performance, don’t you think? Great opening with Big Bang (and TaeYang singing/dancing a solo part). And HOW HOT IS SE7EN! I’m a bit disappointed his performance was so short, but man, it’s still good to see him. (I thought he was going to release an American album soon…? Anticipating that!) I admittedly am not too familiar with any of the other performers, but they all put on a good show!

SE7EN Picspam

I’ve been watching his youtube videos and … I really like him a lot. He’s a very hard worker and he’s very appreciative of his fans. I read all sorts of stories about how he brings his fans food and drinks while they’re waiting in line for his concerts, lol. And also, Big Bang (guh I gotta pimp this again; go watch their Lies MV HERE and sample some of their songs HERE) speaks very highly of him; they’re always like, “SE7EN-hyung monitors us very closely so we can improve. He is our moral support.” And in addition to his good work ethic and lovely personality, he’s a damn good singer. Seriously. I think I like his ballads and slower songs even more than his faster ones (sample some of SE7EN’s songs HERE). His vocals are extremely smooth and sexy~~!

Ah! Also, I was watching an episode of Yashimmanman (wonderful Korean show where celebs come on and divulge a lot about themselves, haha; when DBSK came on, we learned all about Yunho’s moobs, Micky’s difficulty in America, and Changmin’s pr0n XDDD) that I had saved on my computer and he was one of the guests! LOL he was so adorable on the show; he’s got such a sweet, lovely smile. And the hosts and other guests kept cracking jokes about his name. Another guest asked him, “Hey SE7EN, have you ever had girls hit on you? Seven different girls maybe? Seven times?” Awww! And SE7EN would just smile so cutely and look totally embarassed. Guh. He’s so cute! Maybe I’ll cap it when I have time. (Also, Park Jung Ah (*girlcrush*) was on that same episode and she told a story about her mom and started crying about it. I WAS CRYING TOO. She’s such a sweetheart, I love her.)

HAHAHA look at his shirt in the second set! It says, “Like sex and travel, then go take a fucking hike.” ENGRISH XDDD. Ahhhh, it’s almost as good as Jae’s “FUCKING MY WAY” shirt in the Japanese Rising Sun MV, Yunho’s “FUCKING FREEZING” jacket on an old episode of Onryu, and Changmin’s “THIS SHIT SELLS ITSELF” shirt on the True or False?! show. LOL WTF WTF WTFS.

He’s photogenic like WHOA. (Although I don’t like that I can see the ribs in his chest…wtf!)

And omfg, he’s really good. Like REALLY good. He’s got a smooth voice, well suited for R&B, ballads, and hip-hop. He can really sing, guys. I sampled his Must Listen and Se7olution albums and they were both so freaking awesome that I just went out and ordered his entire Korean discography off yesasia 0__0. LOL! Ah, he’s worth it, though. (On a vain note, he’s so handsome and I want those CD covers/booklets! XD!)

I anxiously await his US debut! It’s supposed to be sometime this year. I heard that song he did with the rapper Fabolous (it was leaked onto youtube); it’s not as good as I was expecting, but I’m sure SE7EN has a lot more tricks up his sleeve. He is freaking SE7EN after all; he won’t disappoint. :D

I picked my three favorites off the Must Listen album and two favorites off the Se7olution album. It was really damn hard to pick these, because seriously every single song on both albums are terrific. I can listen to every song on the album without having to skip through. (If you don’t want to download all of them, at least download SE7EN’s LOVE.)

PASSION – asdfjkdlsa;dfasdf great dance song; so damn catchy! He also does the “1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,….SE7EN” in it, too XD. I think it’s adorable! :) The song is just dripping with SMEX.

TATTOO – SE7EN’s got a really nice tenor voice, which makes his ballads sound really sincere and beautiful. Must Listen, in particular, was well-balanced with the dance/hip-hop tracks and the ballads. I’m a huge sucker for ballads and SE7EN sings a lot of fantastic ballads, so I hope you can see why I’m asdfjkalfja;fasdfk about him.

SE7EN’S LOVE – Such a sweet song; it’s ballad/r&b and you get to hear SE7EN sing some high notes beautifully *___*. He’s a tenor but he can still sing those high notes really well. And! He does the “1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,….SE7EN” in this song too, although in a much more calming way than in Passion. HAHAHAHA.

GIRL FRIEND – Very catchy pop song. (homg I’m running out of things to say XD)

CAN YOU FEEL ME – Sexy dance song in the vein of Passion. SE7EN’s voice is reaaaaaaaally smooth here; he uses his sexy raspy voice…! *___*
