IU On Yoo Hee Yeol’s ‘Sketchbook’ (7/3)

You know I love this girl, you know I worship her! ♥!   I’m not familiar with this music show (is it new or have I just been missing out on another awesome music show?!), but I really loved IU’s performances on it.  I embedded the clip of her covering SNSD’s ‘Gee’, Big Bang’s ‘Lies’, and SuJu’s ‘Sorry Sorry’ since those covers are just a;lskjflksj amazing, but she also performed some of her own songs :).   IU was fantastic, the audience was very supportive, and the host looked starry-eyed :DDDD!   I absolutely loved how she sang that one line in ‘Sorry Sorry’ so cheekily at 3:30 and the host is like OH SNAP SHE’S ONTO ME.

I think she, like 2AM (they’re ridiculously good and need more love), is one of those artists that have crazy amounts of talent, but just need better songs that show off their vocal prowess.  I don’t think songs like ‘Boo’ do her voice any justice at all, but I really love the acoustic songs she does and of course ‘Mia’ was EPIC.  I’m looking forward to seeing her take more control of her own music, because she’s a very, very talented girl and if her company just let her run with it, she could be even more amazing than she is now.  The cute concept should be freaking retired already.

Some other IU-related items:
♥ Bizniz – Suga Luv (feat. IU).   The combination of her vocals with his rapping is just lovely ♥♥♥.   I hope IU gets to collaborate with many more artists, sort of like what Younha has been doing :).  Epik High x IU, please!  I’m still waiting for another song as epic as ‘Umbrella’ ♥~.
♥ Sukira – EunTeuk Talk About IU.  They’re playing ‘Boo’ on Sukira; Eeteuk remarks, “She’s cute~” and Eunhyuk says that IU (he calls her Ji Eun) is like his little sister ♥.  *screams*  THAT IS SO CUTE LAKSJDF:ALKJDFS.   (Eunhyuk seems like a fun person to be around, I’m jealous lolololol.)  Eeteuk asks Eunhyuk to introduce IU to him XDDD.

SHINee Questionnaire on SSTP

SHINee OT5 ♥!!  Very cute clip of the boys on SSTP, where they first answer the question “Who is the hardest working member of SHINee?”  At first I thought it was adorable how they all went around picking each other … except it turns out at the end that Minho and Key both picked Jonghyun and no one chose Minho XDDD.  Minho looks kind of sad about it lol, but Jonghyun smooths things over by picking Minho as the member that he feels is very responsible, meticulous, and thinks through things carefully :D.  But he ends that statement with, “And I’m not just saying this because no one picked Minho as the hardest working member!”  LOLOLOLOLOL.  Minho later gets a chance to explain that he thought they were all going to choose each other so everyone would get chosen as the hardest working member, but Jonghyun deceived both him and Key into choosing Jonghyun XDD.  Minho says, “And that is when I realized, ‘Ahhh, so this is what Jonghyun-hyung had set up!’”  LOL @ Jonghyun trying to defend himself.  In the end, Minho chooses himself as the hardest working member :DD.  (Kidding aside, I think these kids are fantastic.  It’s obvious they’re all working really, really hard with their comeback ♥♥♥.  NOW GIVE US A NEW SHOW, SM.)

Also, speaking of Shim Shim Tapa, lyphta (thank you, love!) linked me to this fantastic food parody that Shindong and Shinyoung did of DBSK’s ‘Mirotic’.  I GOT YOU UNDER MY STEAK, COME ON, COME ON, MEAT, COME ON, and I GOT FAT … U KNOW YOU GOT IT! are some of my favorites XDDD.  I think it’s a really well done parody lol; I hope DBSK got a chance to hear it!  Boo to that fan with no sense of humor D:.

♥ Chin Chin Radio; Jonghyun Covering 4Men’s ‘Baby Baby’.  He sang this to Jaebum in one of their Idol World episodes XD!  Except he sang the full version this time and it was lovely ♥.   I downloaded some 4Men a few months ago on a whim and hadn’t gotten a chance to listen to them yet, but mmm I think I’ll go do that right now :).

♥ Chin Chin Radio; Onew Covering Park Hyo Shin’s ‘Fool’.   UM OMG ♥.  I freaking worship Park Hyo Shin, so Onew covering one of his songs (while playing the piano!!!) is like CHRISTMAS IN THE SUMMER.   Onew looked and sounded so dreamy a;slkdfjal.   (Here’s a download link for Hyo Shin’s song.)

♥ Shim Shim Tapa; SHINee – Like A Virgin.   AHAHAHAHA okay well they didn’t actually sing it (I would laugh so hard if if they ever attempted it XDDDD), but they were introducing a CM while Madonna’s song played in the background.  I don’t think they knew how the song went, though, cause they were stumbling all over the introductions lol.

EunTeuk On ‘Star Chat’ (4/6)

♥ Part 1, part 2.

Quite an interesting radio chat ~ the hosts ask questions in English, the boys answer in Korean, and then the hosts translate their answers into English.   Hahahahaha, it was a good interview though.  The hosts were funny and asked interesting questions!  Some highlights:

1.  They talk about how their training and that they’ve been together for 10 years *__*.    Eunhyuk says that there were some things that he missed in his childhood because of his training, like hanging out with friends regularly.   Eeteuk’s like, “I just did whatever I wanted to,” (I think the hosts were surprised by his answer HAHA!) so he doesn’t feel like he missed too much.

2. If they had only one free day to do anything … Eunhyuk says he’d like to go abroad to Japan with his family (the hosts ask him, “For only one day…?”  XDDD).  He also says that it’s been a really long time since he’s seen his family T__T. Eeteuk says he would just chill at home.

3. If they weren’t a memer of Super Junior … Eunhyuk says he wanted to be a soccer player.  Eeteuk says he’s probably be a Super Junior manager, lmfao.  The hosts ask him, “Aren’t you a little young for that?” but apparently SM has managers that are even younger than Eeteuk (like managers right out of high school!).   It’s kind of funny to hear someone remark on how young Eeteuk is (and he is, 25 is young!), especially when his members make fun of his age frequently and say he brings up the average Super Junior age XDD.  And Shin Dong Yup once said on EHB that Eeteuk could’ve been a member of H.O.T.  LOLOLOLOLOL.

4. Living arrangements … Eunhyuk says they’re currently living on two separate floors of the same building complex, but they used to live all together.  All thirteen of them in one apartment, lmao.  I can’t imagine the pandemonium *___*.   They say that the biggest problem was sharing bathrooms (this problem must be compounded by the fact that they like to barge in on each other with camera phones XDD), but their new apartments have two bathrooms each so it’s better.

5. Eunhyuk and Eeteuk live on different floors, but Eeteuk’s crazy laugh can be heard by everyone XDD.

6. They really like Yoonji (Kangin’s wife on ‘We Got Married’) ^__^.

7. If they were on ‘We Got Married’… Eeteuk says he’d want to be married to Yoonji.  Eunhyuk says his ideal is Son Yeh Jin (who, I think, is also Heechul’s ideal :D) and it’d be nice to be married to her on the show even for just a little while.  Then … Eeteuk changes his answer to EMMA WATSON, lololololololololol.  HERMIONE!

8. Good and bad points of performing as a full group vs. a subgroup … Eeteuk says as a full group, they have a lot of energy (strength in numbers), but as a subgroup, they don’t have to spend as much money on meals and stuff, lol.  Eunhyuk says a bad thing about traveling as a full group is that they’ll accidentally leave a member behind … I loved their imitation of Shindong chasing after the van, haha.

(I’m happy to see a lot of SuJu videos are getting subbed ^__^.   Gonna catch up with fandoms and replies this weekend :).)

SuJu On Tablo’s Dream Radio (3/24) + Sorry Sorry MV Making Of

♥ Why I Like You.  I don’t really have any more creative ways to say I love this song XD ♥.   You should check out some of their performances with the background music removed — their live performances of this song (and ‘Sorry Sorry’ too) have been really good *__*.   K.R.Y. do a lot of adlibbing ♥.

♥ Sungmin + Kyuhyun – Because Of Love.  alsdjfkdsl this is why I enjoy their radio appearances so much and … sometimes even more than those music countdown shows lol.  Sungmin plays the guitar!  And the duet was gorgeous ♥♥♥.   Kyuhyun can harmonize with anyone, for reals.

♥ Kangin + Kyuhyun – It’s Been A Long Time.  damn, I need to get myself some audio rips of these performances *___*.  Very pretty song … wish they had performed the full thing~.

♥ EunTeuk Phone In.  Guess they were hosting Sukira and couldn’t make it to Tablo’s radio show ^^;;.  BUT!  They do a pretty awesome acappella version of ‘Sorry Sorry’ in which they sing the members’ names and then end it with “Super Junior, baby”.  Very cool ♥.  EDIT: Actually!  I just read that it was Eunteuk’s GUESTS on Sukira that did the ‘Sorry Sorry’ acappella!  SWEET SORROW ♥♥♥♥♥!!!!  I wanted to do a pimp post on them like a long time ago, but never got around to it and look they don’t even have a tag DD:.
