MNet Super 100 Pop Idols, Section TV Top 20 Pretty Boys

I honestly don’t take these things too seriously (and I wish people didn’t get overly worked up about the order :/), but it’s always fun to see who made the list :).

♥ Section TV Top 20 Pretty Boys.  HEHEHEHEHEHE ♥.   They did something like this last year too, I think?  (Or it was a different news station.)  I’m not familiar with everyone on this list, but for the most part I agree — they’re all pretty guys :).  Lee Jun Ki is my personal top pick, though ♥.

♥ MNet Super 100 Pop Idols.  Thanks to damnskippie18 for reminding me about this!  I dunno how they chose artists to be on this (and the lack of BoA is surprising!), but it’s an interesting list~.   I’m happy to see so many of my favorites on this list, lol.  If you don’t want to watch the entire video, I put the full list behind the cut.

MKMF Awards – Show

Continuing where we left off, lol. I’m only blogging about the people I actually know and spazz over, sorry. No disrespect meant to the other artists ~~ congratulations to them all! And just so this isn’t a completely useless post, I’ll get some performance pictures uploaded soon (am snagging all of these from newsen)!

1. SuJu just presented an award for Best New Male Group. And Eeteuk let Yesung announce the award because EVERYONE LOVES YOU, YESUNG! And F.T Island won! Well deserved, boys ♥♥♥♥♥! I saw Kangin touch HongKi’s face ^^. JongHoon and HongKi started crying when they were doing their little speeches ~~ so adorable. Actually I think they were all tearing up, awwww. It’s just the first of many major awards, I’m sure! F.T Island hwaiting!

2. SNSD, Wonder Girls, KARA, and Black Pearl (I think?) are doing a dance battle right now. And the best dancers of each group are doing dances for a really cute guy (I don’t know who he is … but I must find out cause homg he is so cute ~~ what a sweet smile!). Hyoyeon of SNSD is dancing right now (gah she is amazing; please don’t make me start fangirling you as well!) and the CSJH girls have all jumped to their feet, cheering. SO CUTE. Wonder Girls win Best New Female Group! I don’t know too much about them, only that Heechul loves dancing to their song Tell Me, but congratulations! You girls look great *____*. 3. SUPER JUNIORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR ♥!! I have no idea what they just won, but lol all of a sudden they are wearing different clothes XDDD. And they didn’t all come onto the stage at the same time; it was so hilarious to watch them walking onto the stage from all different directions LOLOLOLOLOL. I think some of them were probably still changing into their new outfits because some of them were running onto stage behind the others. Oh, SuJu ♥. Still so cracktastic on an award night. 4. I’M GONNA DIE YOU GUYS. EPIK HIGH IS RAPPING. SG WANNABE IS SINGING. I THINK I JUST SAW HEECHUL COME OUT IN WHITE IT IS HEECHUL IN WHITE! HE LOOKS GORGEOUS *_______*. AND HE’S RAPPING AND SCREAM-SINGING AND OMG HE LOOKS AMAZING. BE STILL, MY HEART ♥. (EDIT: Lots more clear pictures HERE. And caps: one, two, three.)

5. Big Bang is performing Lies ~~ gah, I LOVE THIS SONG. They all look so snappy in their white tuxedos :*. And I just saw the CSJH girls bopping their heads to the music.

6. Ah rats, CSJH The Grace didn’t win Best Female Group :(. But I’m still really happy for the group that did win, SeeYa, because they’re also one of my favorite girl groups as well! I’ll get around to uploading some of their music tomorrow ~~.

7. F.T Island just won something else! Gah I stepped away from my computer for like one second, so I dunno what they won. But they shook hands with Lee Seung Gi on their way to get their award. And I guess they’ve gotten over all the shock because they look super composed and collected and smiley here. Too cuuuuuute.

8. HELL YESSSSSSSSS!! Epik High just won for Best Hip Hop Group! (I was rooting for them or Big Bang ^^.) Well-deserved! Their song Fan is definitely one of the best songs I’ve heard from them and they have a LOT of good songs, so that’s saying something. TABLO LOOKS LIKE HARRY POTTER HOMGGGG.

9. Lee Seung Gi just won for Best Male Solo! JDSKFLDJSKFDS GAH THIS IS AWESOME. (And it was so cute how all the F.T Island boys got out of their seats to give him a group hug :*.) And that was a really tough category, imo ~~ Eru, Park Hyo Shin, and Shin Hye Sung were also nominated and I’m a huge fan of those guys too. Honestly, I would have been happy seeing ANYONE in this category winning. But LSG was smiling so cutely onstage when accepting his award, so it’s all good :D.

10. Epik High is on a roll tonight!! Their Remapping The Human Soul album (which is totally amazing, btw; I haven’t enjoyed an album that fully since … forever XDD) just won Album Of The Year. AND THEY TOTALLY DESERVE IT. They looked so surprised and flustered while they were accepting their award, lol, but they really shouldn’t be! Epik High hwaiting!

11. CSJH IS PERFORMING A REMIX VERSION OF ONE MORE TIME, OK? RIGHT NOW. In black and pink dresses and they look ridiculously hot. You show them how it’s done, girls ♥♥♥♥! Everyone, take pointers.

12. SUJU IS PERFORMING 갈증 AND IT IS AMAZING. I’ve wanted a performance of this song for the first time I heard it; it’s so sexy! And unlike anything they’ve done before. AND KYUHYUN IS COMING UP IN A PLATFORM. AND SINGING SDJFKLDSJFKDL. THE DANCING ♥♥♥♥♥!!! INCOHERENCY!! Gah, the SuJu boys look really good, even if the audience is starting to look bored, lol. It’s been a long show ^^. (This is like running a freaking marathon, I swear.) And LOL this picture is so funny XDDD.

And they just won something! Again, I don’t know what, lol, but Eeteuk pushed Yesung to the microphone again, so Yesung got to talk for a bit. And then it was Kyuhyun’s turn. ULTIMATE LOVE ♥♥♥♥♥. I think he started tearing up at the end, too ;___;. I’m so stoked you’re back, kiddo ♥!

13. SG Wannabe just won R&B/Soul! And they were my top pick too, so I’m really stoked about that. (TOUGH competition this year, man ~~ Wheesung and Fly To The Sky both released amazing albums this year *____*.)

14. CSJH The Grace wins something … BEST DANCE! I’m happy to see them win at least something! (But I have to admit, I was pulling for Super Junior in this category. The Don’t Don dance pwns all!!) But the girls do look really amazing up there! And happy! It’s great to see them getting recognition for their amazing talent, because they are really very underrated and it is maddening.

15. F.T ISLAND IS PERFORMING WITH YOUNHA!! AND INSOONIEEEE!! YES! I didn’t even see F.T Island on the performance list, so this is totally making my day :). And they’re singing What Friends Are For. In English! HongKi’s voice is amazing *_____*.

16. Big Bang wins Best Male Group! And they also had really tough competition, including Epik High, SG Wannabe, SuJu, and SS501. All the nominees were greaaaaaaaaaat; I honestly would not have minded either of the nominees winning. But congratulations, Big Bang! I knew you guys wouldn’t go home empty-handed ♥!

16. GACKT!! Wow, ok, so I admit I don’t really know anything about him and I’ve hardly listened to his music, but right now, HE IS HAVING ONE OF THE BEST PERFORMANCES ALL NIGHT. Maybe even THE BEST. WOW. He sang Dispar and Redemption and LOL @ the audience’s expressions! (I SEE YOU, HEECHUL! I SEE YOU CLAPPING WITH YOUR MOUTH WIDE OPEN ♥!!) They don’t look as bored anymore ^^;;. I’m really impressed ♥. *runs to find some of his music*

17. SUJU WINS ARTIST OF THE YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course ♥. I love how the CSJH girls were hugging the SuJu boys on their way up to the stage. Eeteuk thanked everyone in Korean. Then Hankyung, in Chinese. Then Heechul (looking freaking amazing sjdfklsdjfkdls) said something about Kyuhyun and then pinched/touched Kyu’s face and omg so cuuuuuuute. I LOVE THOSE TWO TOGETHER SJDFKLSJF. Congratulations, boys!

18. Last award of the night; Big Bang wins Best Song Of The Year, for Lies. !!!! And in a year with a LOT of great songs released, this was probably one of my favorites (I can’t pick a favorite…don’t make me pick a favorite; competition was insane this year!). They were crying when they got their award too ;____;. I AM SO HAPPY FOR THEM!

That was a really fun show to watch :). I can’t compare it to last year’s because I’ve only seen cuts from last year’s show (where DBSK swept the awards, lol), but I did enjoy this year’s! A lot of my favorites won! I’m a bit disappointed that DBSK wasn’t there at all this year (I thought they were supposed to come), but I still loved the show anyway ^^. Too tired to blog about anything else at the moment; will be back tomorrow with more stuff!

MKMF Awards – Red Carpet

I’ll edit this post with pictures later, but homg this is exciting and I have to blog somewhere lol! I’m watching a stream of the red carpet special right now (and I would totally screencap stuff for you, but I’m using the ‘print screen function’ and the screen just comes up blank nooooo~~ advice please!) :

1. They showed some old clips from last year’s MKMF ~~ lots of cute clips, gah I really should go rewatch some of the older shows. I really loved all those clips of SuJu winning last year and cryingggg. Guh they are so cute. SOOOO CUTE. I hope they win something this year.

2. F.T Island, I love you boys more than air, but I’m not loving what your stylists did to you, lol. HongKi, what on earth are you wearing?!?! What’s with the pimp hat? And the black fur shrug or whatever that is? And the black gloves? And the black boots? sdjfklsdjfkdlj XDDDD. WonBin looks freaking fantastic from the front (guh so handsome ♥♥♥♥♥), but then he turns around and damn that’s a long shirt tail, lol. JongHoon is wearing a dead animal or something on his shoulder and some scary gloves. Why so much fur???? Still all so hot, though ♥. I hope these boys win something tonight!

3. Epik High ♥! Tablo is wearing his nerdy glasses and his hair is tied up and he looks adorable! Mithra and Tukutz look great too!

4. Lee Seung Gi looks so handsome! And his hair is super ruffly tonight ♥. The hosts are touching his tie and tuxedo right now lmao and he looks really uncomfortable XDDD. sjdfklsjdfkldj guh omg why so cute? (And why are you younger than me? ^^)

5. Big Bang just arrived and they look appropriately gangster-ish. I like how some of them paired tuxedo tops with jeans sjdfklsdjfkld. TOP looks so aristocratic, even though he’s wearing converses or something XDD. I love the glasses! I don’t really like what TY is wearing, but the rest of them look great!

6. I’m not really a fan of their music so I don’t talk about them too much, but SNSD just arrived. I can only recognize one of them and that’s SooYoung (the girl that hosts Chunji with Sungmin), and SHE LOOKS GORGEOUS ♥. They ALL look really pretty in white, actually :*.

7. CSJH THE GRACE ♥♥♥♥!!!! HOMG GIRLS!!! They’re all wearing little black dresses and they look super hot and sexy and adorable. I really love how they can look so sexy and mature and classy all at the same time.

8. SUPER JUNIOR sdjfklsdjkflsdjkfla;jsdkl;fjkla;sjdfklsjdf;lkjdslkfjdkl. They came in the middle of CSJH’s interview, so you could hear the audience screaming in the background. YOU BOYS LOOK GREAT *_____*. I can’t make fun of Yesung just yet cause he looks freaking amazing and adorable in his glasses. Heechul looks so handsome; the hair ♥♥♥♥♥♥ . They’re all walking too fast for me to type. WTF is Shindong wearing … he’s wearing shorts and a big white bowtie and … DAMN YOU COMMERCIAL. (Edit: Watch on youtube!)

9. WHAT. Red carpet is over :(. No SuJu interview. And I didn’t see the Dong Bangs either; are they even coming tonight? But anyway! Off to watch the show! (It’s sort an ungodly hour now, so I probably won’t watch the entire thing; hopefully one of the other posters will update with pics and stuff!)

Lee Seung Gi On YSMM (8/27)

There are really no words for how awesome I think this cutie is ♥. I know I don’t talk about him too much, but I’ve been a fan for a while now ~~ ever since I saw him on Xman and Love Letter. I loved him on those shows; he is so witty and funny and charming, just a great personality in general. And then there’s his voice sdfjksdlfjkdls. His songs are always on constant replay on my iPod. And also, the fact his song Because You’re My Girl started the whole thing with guys liking nunas makes him so much win in my book hehehehehe.

But anyway! I finally got a chance to listen to his latest CD (which actually came out like three months ago ~~ I fail, I know) and I’m getting all flaily over him again. His guest-hosting with Heechul on Inkigayo played a big role in that too, lol. So I went hunting for his videos on youtube and found some subbed YSMM videos :). The embedded video is my personal favorite cut — he talks about Kang Ho Dong and his grudges, lol. I love KHD, so it’s always really funny for me to see guests come on YSMM and tell stories about him or make fun of him. (Heechul did a really good job of that when he recently appeared on the show with Hankyung XDDD.) LSG is a really good storyteller. HE IS SO FUNNY 8D. I especially loved the part where they were talking about KHD’s wedding, and how LSG said that other people were driving to the wedding so quickly (to avoid being late) that their cars almost tipped over. LOLOLOLOLOL!!

But do check out the other cuts, too! In the one where he talks about his first love, he sings at the beginning and you can hear KHD going “WOWWWWWWWWWW!!!” ♥ That was live, too! He truly has an amazing voice. And the story of his 1st love is actually really cute ^^. He followed that up with another story about his love rival, which made me laugh hardcore. I guess he could say that stuff in text messages, but I really can’t see him saying those things out loud. I dunno, he looks too sweet to be saying stuff like, “Hey you can’t even talk back to me, fool. I’m working out these days.” I mean, what? JUST LOOK AT HIM. HE LOOKS SO NICE ♥.

This Love, This Love

I was cleaning out my external harddrive last night and found a few goodies that I absolutely must upload:

There was a wildly popular Maroon 5 song, This Love, released a few years ago. I have heard most of their music (although I don’t really keep up with them) and it’s still my favorite song by them. The beat is so catchy! But anyway, yeah, I didn’t realize that both Big Bang (it’s a G-dragon solo) and Lee Seung Gi, both artists that I love, have songs using that beat! I don’t understand Korean unfortunately, so I can’t tell you if it’s a cover (although I think the Big Bang one is) or a song with the same beat and totally different lyrics ^^;;. But still, this is really good stuff and y’all should download both! Even as a huge fan of the original Maroon 5 version, I’d say these are both as good as (or maybe even better than XD) the original.

And … speaking of Big Bang, they’re gonna be releasing their 1st Japanese single, How, soon! Here’s a LQ preview of it. I personally love how their style is stamped all over it and it IS catchy … but will Japanese audiences like it? ?? I have no idea (although I’m crossing my fingers for them, of course). I must admit that besides DBSK’s Japanese stuff and Monkey Majik, I’m pretty much a noob when it comes to Japanese music lmao.
