MNet Super 100 Pop Idols, Section TV Top 20 Pretty Boys

I honestly don’t take these things too seriously (and I wish people didn’t get overly worked up about the order :/), but it’s always fun to see who made the list :).

♥ Section TV Top 20 Pretty Boys.  HEHEHEHEHEHE ♥.   They did something like this last year too, I think?  (Or it was a different news station.)  I’m not familiar with everyone on this list, but for the most part I agree — they’re all pretty guys :).  Lee Jun Ki is my personal top pick, though ♥.

♥ MNet Super 100 Pop Idols.  Thanks to damnskippie18 for reminding me about this!  I dunno how they chose artists to be on this (and the lack of BoA is surprising!), but it’s an interesting list~.   I’m happy to see so many of my favorites on this list, lol.  If you don’t want to watch the entire video, I put the full list behind the cut.

SBS Gayo Daejun Lineup

HOLY EXCITEMENT :D!  I’m looking at all the artists in this pic and practically having a fit, lol.  OMG!  It should be a really good show.  It will be aired December 29th, 9:55 P.M. (Korean time).   (To figure out what time the show will be on in your time zone, use this nifty Time Zone converter!)  That is an ungodly hour for me so I probably won’t be watching the stream, but fangirls are fast and especially when it comes to a big show like this!  A lot of things to look forward to:

1. DBSK + Big Bang special stage (thanks to farahmicky for uploading and to grizzlybeary for the link!).  HELIODUS CALLED THIS ONE LIKE HALF A YEAR AGO XD.  LSDJFKLDS SHOULD BE AMAZING!!   I wonder what kind of special stage they’ll be doing … singing each other’s songs?  Whatever it is, I’m totally looking forward to it.

2. Junsu + Taeyang piano battle.  I knew Taeyang could play the piano well, but I didn’t know Junsu could too…!  *feels like a bad fan XD*   Someone on soompi was saying that Junsu was one of the best pianists in SM, which is really kinda alsjdkfljklasdj WHY HAS HE NEVER SHOWED THIS OFF?!  Really can’t wait to see the both of them play.  Also just the fact that it’s a freaking PIANO BATTLE is exciting, lol.  Those are exciting!!  It’s almost like watching a major sporting event for me XDD;;.  (I really like that one Jay Chou did with that guy from NQMM … I’m blanking on his name at the moment ^^;;.)

3. BOA PERFORMING ‘EAT YOU UP’ AND ‘LOOK WHO’S TALKING’!!!!!!!!!  Wow, how long as it been since she’s been in something like this?  Can’t wait, can’t wait!  ♥

4. I recall reading something about there being a Wonder Boys 2.  I don’t know if it will be with different boys (the first one had Sungmin, Shindong, Seungri, Jokwon, and Taemin) though, but it seems likely?  I know I would love to see SHINee’s Key do something like this, roflmao.

5. Bi + Hyori!  Wonder what they’re planning…

5. EVERYTHING ELSE, I MEAN, JUST LOOK AT THE ARTIST LIST!!   Hopefully there are a bunch of special stages.  I, myself, am hoping for some kind of Epik High – Brown Eyed Girls collab XD.   And Supy x SHINee!!

EDIT: DANCE BATTLE! Featuring Seungri, Yunho, Eunhyuk, and Taemin!!!  The likelihood of me either staying up late/waking up early to watch this is increasingggg.  The show sounds totally epic; I don’t want to miss it anymore XD.

MKMF 2008, Pictures and Videos

Because I *am* biased (although I am very happy with how the awards turned out and thought all of the artists deserved everything they won) and Changmin looks so happy here :D.  The other posts are a mess lol, so new post for all the pictures and videos  :).  Great award show; I thought the performances were really something *____*.   And for fans are are disappointed by the results, there are other award shows on the horizon and more chances to win :DD.   I also think people are thinking too lightly of what DBSK actually won!  Best Album of the year!  In a year packed with comebacks and great albums, no less.  Everyone deserved what they won.

♥ MKMF Batman Parody.  WATCH THIS XDDDDDDD.  So funny; it was played during the red carpet segment and I was cracking up so bad even though I didn’t know what they were saying other than “I’m a Cassiopeia!”, “I’m a Wonder Girls fan!”, “I like Lee Hyori!”

Special Stages / Performances:  WERE BASICALLY AMAZING.  ALL OF THEM.
♥ Girls Reloaded – Brown Eyed Girls + Jewelry + Jaurim.  Who knew these pop songs could be translated so well into rock.  Gosh, they look gorgeous too ♥___♥.
♥ Something HOT – 2PM, U-Kiss, SHINee, 2AM, Mighty Mouth, Moon Hee Jun (Part 1) (Part 2).  LSDJFKSDL.  Even beyond the sheer amazingness of the performances, the REACTIONS from various audience members = awesome.  Especially Junsu rapping along during Hee Jun’s performance :D.
♥ Secret Party – Wonder Girls + 2PM.  ‘Nobody’ (Tango Version) was teh sex *___*.  Super good performance.  And when 2PM took off their shirts?  SLDJFKSLDFJKALJS:;lS;fjk:JSDLFJSDKFLSJkl.
♥ Scandalous – Big Bang + Hyori (Part 1) (Part 2).  This was my favorite special stage all night ♥.  DIES, SCANDALOUS INDEED!  THE KISS FELT AROUND THE WORLD.  I WAS HOLDING MY BREATH AND PROBABLY TURNING BLUE WHEN TOP WAS WALKING TOWARD HER SDLJFKDSL.  You gotta give Hyori some credit … the guys get to rotate turns, but she’s dancing through the entire thing.  IN HIGH HEELS.
♥ Rescue 구원) – Epik High + Kim Chang Hwan.  I really love how they remixed and blended the songs *____*.  And the ending was messy and chaotic and just … glorious.
♥ My Addiction – DBSK (Part 1) (Part 2).  My addiction ♥.  I really, really enjoyed the ‘Mirotic’ performance especially.  If I hadn’t seen Jaejoong’s gigantic eyebags beforehand, I wouldn’t have even guessed they were exhausted.  They were singing and dancing their hearts out ♥.  Really proud of you boys ♥.  And um, I say this a lot, but I love them.
♥ Khalil Fong – Ai Ai Ai.  I was so surprised to see him suddenly pop up in the middle of the MKMF, but what a really nice surprise!  He sounds really good *___* ♥.

I’m getting good at using cuts now!  Aren’t you guys proud of me, lol.  :)

MKMF 2008

COMPUTER PROBLEMS, ARGH.  I just caught the end of Lee Min Ki looking amazing in guyliner and rocking out.  LMAOOOOO.  I love him, but why!  XDD I need to youtube this later; people’s reactions were freaking hilarious.  Some people were like whoa O___o and Big Bang still looks angry and SHINee was all :DDDDDDDD.

New groups performing SuJu’s ‘U’, SS501’s ‘Warning’, and DBSK’s ‘Rising Sun.”  SHINee doing DBSK’s ‘Rising Sun’ is amazing!  LMAO they just cut to Changmin doing the hand motions and Yunho clapping/singing along XDD.  Think they just did a G.O.D. and Shinhwa song. Moon Hee Jun singing now (HE STILL HAS IT); cut to Junsu and Yoochun clapping and rapping along.  LOVE ♥.  HOLY CRAP IS THAT JONGHYUN SINGING WITH HEE JUN?!?!!!!!!!!!  WHAT WHAT WHAT.  AND TWO GUYS FROM 2AM AND 2PM, I THINK?  I RECOGNIZE JO KWON :DD.  AMAZING SPECIAL STAGE WITH THE NEWCOMERS THIS YEAR!

SHINee just won the “Best Newcomer” award; DBSK is on their feet cheering for them.  Jonghyun and Key are crying a lot.  Onew’s having a hard time giving his speech, awww.  GO SHINEE!!  They’re my favorite new group this year ♥.  Junsu looks so proud of them alsjdfklsd.  I think he and Yoochun might have been tearing up for SHINee ;___; ♥.

Brown Eyes just won for ‘Kajima, Kajima’!!  Yay :D.  Tough category; I was rooting for either Brown Eyes, V.O.S, or Park Ji Heon :D.

I think DBSK just won some kind of popularity award …?  ♥♥♥♥♥

‘Girls Reloaded’ segment now :).  Oh, Brown Eyed Girls!!  Performing their recent hit, but a rock version, with rock outfits and topless male dancers XDD.  I love it, though!  They sound great ♥.  A camera must be right in front of Yunho cause he’s getting filmed a lot, but NOT LIKE I MIND lol.  He looks embarrassed, though XD.  Now Jewelry performing ‘Baby One More Time’ … again a rock version.  OMG.  I NEED TO FIND SOME MP3 RIPS ONCE THIS IS OVER; I PREFER THESE ROCK VERSIONS TO THE ORIGINALS.  I don’t know who the last singer is, but she’s so pretty and has such a strong voice.  (Okay, she is Jaurim and apparently the girl rock icon of Korea ^^;;.  I need to look up more of her work obviously.)  Changmin and Yunho seem really into the performance, lol.

Working again, but I missed out on a tipsy Hyori (lolololol she was having drinks with Jewelry before the show) winning an award for best dance song and SG Wannabe and KDW winning for their track on the East of Eden OST!  And Shin Seung Hoon winning some kind of lifetime achievement award?  alsjdfls congratulations to them all ♥♥♥.  Commercial now, thank goodness.  Need to get something to eat lol.

I AM DYING OMG … WONDER GIRLS AND 2PM SPECIAL STAGE!!  TANGO VERSION OF ‘NOBODY’ LSDJFKLDSJFKLDS!!!  I’m loving this and I’m not even that familiar with either group.  The girls look so pretty in their purple dresses.  SOMEONE JUST TOOK OFF HIS SHIRT.  DAMN WHY IS IT LAGGING.  Disco version of ‘Nobody’ now :D.  I love the attitude of the song!

Hip hop award goes to EPIK HIGH FOR ‘ONE’ YAYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!  Well-deserved (although I would have also been happy if MC Mong won too lol).  They all look really fly and gah Mithra looks especially adorable T___T.  And kind of sleepy XD.

Nell wins the rock award, besting names like Moon Hee Jun and Seo Taiji :D.  Congratulations to them!  ♥

FINALLY ONE OF MY MOST ANTICIPATED SPECIAL STAGES: BIG BANG AND HYORI!!!!!!!!!!!  Taeyang and Hyori are performing ‘Don’t Look At Me’ right now.  Taeyang looks fly as heck and Hyori looks just beautiful in a backbearing white flowy top and black skinnies.  Goshhhhhhhhh ♥♥♥.  G-Dragon’s rapping ‘Don’t Look At Me’ and alsdjfklds they’re so touchy with each other.  OMFG I LOVE THIS ♥.  Now TOP with Hyori omg DYING DYING DYING HE IS WALKING TO HER.  THIS IS THE SEX.  HE ALSO JUST CAME REALLY CLOSE TO KISSING HER SLJDKFLSD.  DYING, OH THANK YOU iTae FOR THE PICTURE; HE REALLY KISSED HER?!?!?!  I thought it was just the camera angle lol. Tribute to H.O.T … SHINee presents the award to Moon Hee Jun and do some … 120 degree bows :D.  So polite.  And H.O.T were before my time so I’m not as alsjdfklsd about them as I probably would be if I were a few years older.  But, they are awesome and their 2nd album in particular rocks my socks off ♥.

EPIK HIGH FOR THE WIN FOR THE WIN.  They’re performing now … cameraman keeps cutting to Onew and Key bobbing their heads to the music and grinning at the camera ;___; ♥.  How cute.  Epik High just went into ‘One’ … Kim Chang Wan singing with them now and they sound really great together.  I think Mithra or Tablo just pulled a bunch of the artists in the audience onto the stage :DDDD.  LOL the stage is pandemonium now; what’s going on XDD.  I love this ♥.

DBSK winning their 4th, 5th award of the night…?  Congrats to them!!  I think they’re rotating speaking turns hahaha; it was Junsu’s turn this time ♥ :).

WHOAAAAAAAAA KHALIL FONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  DUDE!  We recommended this guy in our Chinese pimp post and NOW HERE HE IS PERFORMING AT THE MKMF!!!  GOD I LOVE HIS VOICE SO MUCH.  He’s got soul ♥♥♥.  I think the camera focusing on the artists in the audience is making them feel awkward and they’re doing weird stuff lol in reaction.  Key just did the ‘Mirotic’ dance move, wth XD.

DBSK DBSK DBSK THE GROUP I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR ALL NIGHT.  They all are doing their short individual stages.  Yoochun’s dancing to ‘The Way U Are’ right now …. now Yunho doing the ‘Rising Sun’ rap part … Junsu doiing ‘Rising Sun’ … Jae in all white doing a bit of ‘Purple Line’ (WHY SO MUCH FUR) … and FINALLY CHANGMINNIE DOING ‘HUG’!!!  COULD I SEE ANY MORE OF YOUR CHEST :DDD.  Wow, they’ve really come a long way since ‘Hug’ and Changmin’s “I love kitties” image XDDDD.  SLDJFKSDLFJKDLS LIVE ‘WRONG NUMBER’ PERFORMANCE SLDJFKLDS ALL LEVELS OF DEAD.  WHOA I SEE ALL OF JAE’S CHEST RIGHT NOW LOL.  WHEN DID THAT BUTTON COME OFF.  They sound super good, really powerful … especially Junsu.  WTF WHAT IS THIS OMG!  MIROTIC!  BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE AN 80s VERSION LMFAO.  UM ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU HAVE JAE AND HIS FUR COAT AND WHITE GLOVES LOLOLOL.  I LOVE THESE BOYS SO HARD.  Junsu took off his jacket :D.  YUMMY ARMS.  He also sang “breaking my RULES again” … love it.  Dance interlude before Changmin absolutely NAILS that high note.  He owns it ♥.  Go, DBSK ♥♥♥♥♥!

I think Wonder Girls just won best female group ♥ :).  Congratulations, girls!  It’s super cute Park Taehwan presented them the award too … aren’t he and SunYe really good friends?  Cute :).

HI, CHUN HEE ♥.  Presenting best male group now … lol I love everyone single one of these nominees: DBSK, Big Bang, Epik High, F.T Island, and SG Wannabe.  Award goes to Big Bang!!  :D  Congratulations to them!  ♥♥♥♥♥!  It’s definitely well-deserved, given all the great Korean music they’ve released this past year :).

BIG BANG WINS AGAIN … WHAT ARE THESE PEOPLE WINNING ALJDKFLDS.  IS THIS THE SONG OF THE YEAR?!  SO CONFUSED.  THEY WON ARTIST OF THE YEAR!  I thought they would honestly, since they’ve been very active in Korea this year.  Congratulations, boys ♥!  Well-deserved!

ALBUM OF THE YEAR … GOES TO DBSK YAYYYYYYYYYY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.  I would have been quite happy if Epik High had won for ‘Pieces, Part 1′ since that’s one of my favorite albums of the year, but so is ‘Mirotic’.  YAY, CONGRATULATIONS BOYS ♥♥♥♥♥!  I THINK CHANGMIN IS CRYING…!  AND YOOCHUN IS COMFORTING HIM?!  WHOA, YOU DON’T SEE THIS EVER!!  BUT HOW MUCH WIN IS THIS ♥.  CHANGMINNIE ♥♥♥♥♥.  Ah this must be overwhelming for them ♥.  I think Yunho just glomped Changmin :D ♥.

MKMF 2008, Red Carpet

Watching it right now~!  I don’t think tvants is working, but if you go to this website and click ‘View Live’, it should work.  Will edit with links and pictures later, just live blogging a bit here ^^;;.

Dynamic Duo and Epik High were just going through a list of (I think) their top 5 favorite MKMF performances … can’t remember everyone on the list, but Bi and Uhm Jung Hwa (lololol why haven’t I seen this before … it was during the 2006 awards and her dancers were walking around in the audience and I SAW SOME VERY AWKWARD LOOKING SUJU MEMBERS VERY AWKWARDLY LOOKING AT THE DANCERS ROFLMAOOOO) were on it.  The #1 was BoA’s 2005 ‘Over the Top’ performance, which is also my favorite :).  Go youtube it!  It’s a ten minute piece of awesome… I think she was sick at the time, but she still sang and danced her heart out and was totally awesome ♥.

UM OMG AND THEN THE MOST HILARIOUS ‘BATMAN’ PARODY ALSJDFKLSDJFKSLD.  Basically, they showed parts of the movie and dubbed over the actors to be saying stuff like, “I’m a Lee Hyori fan!” or “I like Big Bang!”  ROFLMAOOOO.  Aaron Eckhart (he played Harvey “Two Face” Dent), in that part where he tells everyone he’s Batman, says in the dub, “I’m Cassiopeia!”  Heath Ledger says he’s a Lee Hyori fan, Michael Caine likes the Wonder Girls, Maggie Gyllenhaal likes Big Bang, Christian Bale likes SNSD.  HAHAHAHAHAHA I’m sure this would be a lot funnier if I knew what they were saying, but it’s already pretty hilarious.  You also have Hyori riding in the car with Heath Ledger and looking amused.  AND MICHAEL CAINE POINTING AT THE TV SCREEN AND SAYING SOMETHING ABOUT “SOHEE” AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Some kind of video recapping all the hit music videos of the year was just played… wow there was a lot of good music this year ♥.

Jewelry now!  They look gorgeous *____*.   Park Jung Ah ♥.  Her hair is kind of weird, but she looks really elegant and lovely.  They’re going through another ‘Best Of’ list … “Best Dressed” maybe?  JYP, Bi, SS501 (ohhh I remember that ~ vision in white *___*), BoA (wow, she’s working that pink suit), and Hyori.

Another segment of Wang Bi Ho (hilarious XD) wearing an outfit that plays off what G-Dragon infamously wore to the MNet 20s Choice Awards (the “69″ and “I LOVE SEX” pins, lol!).  Except WBH’s pins say “96″ and “I LOVE MUSIC” XDD.  As usual, I can’t understand anything, but it sounds like he’s making disparaging comments about all the artists (in good fun, of course) with actual footage of these artists at award shows intersplit in.  LMAO some of the reactions were hilarious.  I think he was pointing at his pins and making fun of G-Dragon at one point, which was intercut with footage of G-Dragon pouting and looking disgruntled.  HAHAHA.

MMMM DBSK JUST ARRIVED.  THEY LOOK REALLY YUMMY LSDJFKSLDJFKLS.  Coats and suits!  Junsu and Changmin are dressed similarly, looking SUPER FREAKING HANDSOME in simple, classic suits.  I love it!  And I’m glad Junsu’s hair is back to brown/black.  Yunho’s fur collar is threatening to take over his small face, lmfao.  OH, LEADER!  XDDDD.  He looks like a mob boss or something.  I love Yoochun’s new hair color and cut!  (EDIT: DYING, I GOT A BETTER LOOK AT THE PICTURES; YOOCHUN, WHY DON’T YOUR PANTS COVER YOUR ANKLES XDDDD.)   Jae’s chesttttt *____*.  YUM.  Ohhh I really love what he’s wearing.  Best-dressed imo :).

They’re going through another best of list, best tearful award acceptances, I think?  BoA’s on the list again, for when she won in 2004 :).  Kim HyunJoong (of SS501) is up there too; awww, this is one of my favorite SS501 moments.  His voice kept cracking ;___;.  Big Bang’s Daesung … for crying so hard last year when they won the biggest award at last year’s MKMF.  D’AWWW ♥♥♥.  Topping that list is Yoochun, who cried a lot when they won back in 2005 ♥~~~.  They’re watching an old performance of TRI-ANGLE … JUNSU IS LOL-ING AT HOW THEY LOOK ROFLMAO.  Um, from 2005, the Rising Sun performance (which was totally awesome btw, that whole segment with BoA, CSJH, SuJu, and DBSK!!!).  From 2006, O.Jung.Ban.Hap.  They just won some kind of award, for their music video, I think :DD.

Hyun Joon (of V.O.S), Ga In (of Brown Eyed Girls) and Joo are singing Happy Birthday to MKMF together now ;_________; ♥♥♥.  SO ADORABLE.  AND THEY SOUND SO GOOD TOO ♥.

HYORI HYORI HYORIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!  Man, she looks SMOKING HOT!  Very vixen-ish with the dark red lipstick, tousled hair, high-waisted plaid red plaid skirt, fishnet stockings, and AWESOME ACCESSORIES, as always :D.  Hyori ♥.  I cannot WAIT to see her special stage with Big Bang tonight.

SHINee … WHOAAAAA THEIR OUTFITS.  Onew’s the only one wearing a white suit; the rest of them are wearing tan/beige.  AND WAY TOO MUCH GOLD LSDJFKLSDJFKLS XDDD.  They, um, look very shiny. LOL. Minho’s coat is positively blinding, as is Taemin’s jacket.  They look really cute, though :).  I think they were just talking about a special stage.

DBSK JUST WON ANOTHER AWARD ROFL.  I have no idea what these are for, but ooh they were brought out again to accept their award, whatever it is.  Yunho’s hair looks great, but I feel like their stylist noona must have used an entire bottle of hair gel on him, lol.

2PM NOW.  Another group I need to get into because people have been raving about them … this winter break, I willllll.   Joo’s posing with them :).

Finally, Big Bang!!!  YAYYYYY ♥♥♥.  Sad face at Seungri’s hair and the fur collars, but they look pretty rad :D.  NOBODY ROCKS THE GUYLINER BETTER THAN THESE BOYS DO. They also just won a digital music award :) Congratulations to them!

Red carpet is over … on with the show ♥♥♥. Will write until I get tired and then one of the other girls can take over rofl :D.
