Star King (11/14)

Here goes nothing XDDD!  LOL I didn’t know where I should jump back into fandom (I’ve only caught up on the music releases and the episodes of ‘You’re Beautiful’), but I guess Star King is a good place to start ♥.  I love this show!  And they had some awesome guests on it this weekend, including Super Junior (Eeteuk and Eunhyuk), SS501, SHINee, KARA, t-ara (Eunjung, Hyomin, and Ji Yeon), MC Mong, 2AM (Jokwon), and more!

♥ Eunhyuk and Hara.  a;slkdjf;lk this is soooooooooooooooo cute.  The Eunhyuk fangirl in me is pretty jealous lol, but I think Hara is so flipping gorgeous and they’re adorable together!  Eunhyuk was so shy at the end ^___^.  Did you catch Boom giving Eunhyuk a “LUCKY GUY!” punch at the end?  HAHA!

♥ Boom Academy Dance Remix.  Here’s the whole thing ♥_____♥.   Boom and Jokwon go first and lmao they’re just too much — I was like O__O  O_______O  O_______________O  O_____________________________O progressively through it.  They’re great ♥.   Then Kim Tae Woo and Seungyeon = :D ♥.  I just read an article where Tae Woo said his new favorite female idol is Seungyeon.  He went from Yuri (SNSD) to Narsha (BEG) to Nicole (of the same group XDD!) to Seungyeon.  That flirt XD.  They were so cute though!  I loved how he was like, “One more time!” at the end.  Then Eunhyuk and Hara — I could watch this a thousand times and not get tired of it.  They both have such great smiles :D.  I don’t know who Eeteuk was partnered up with, but lol he’s so forward!  I LIKE.  At the end, everyone tries to dance with each other — Tae Woo and Seungyeon, Eunhyuk and Hara, Brian Joo and Hye Run, Boom and the PD-nim (LMAO), etc.  Super cute cut!

♥ Kiki with MC Mong, t-ara, Jo Hye Run, Kim Hyunjoong.  :D!  Kiki is this really adorable monkey that everyone seems quite taken with, especially MC Mong.  I thought it was hilarious when he started eating bananas too, lmfao.  It was also great with Jo Hye Run and Kiki were kissing and passing food to each other LOL and the hosts are like, “Hey it’s like that scene in Iris with Lee Byung Hoon and Kim Tae Hee!”  (Anyone watching that btw?  Is it awesome?  :D?)

♥ Eunhyuk Kisses a Baby Crocodile.  Title says it all.  Hyukkie getting frisky with everyone these days ;).

♥ SHINee Cut.  I have failed to keep up with the RDD promotions (despite that song being fantastic and having GREAT choreography like all of their songs do); it’s great to see they’re still looking awesome and appearing on shows!  :)  This is mostly a Taemin and Minho cut, but it includes shots of the other boys and other groups too.  There’s an amusing bit where Taemin, Minho, and Kyujong of SS501 are dying on stationary bicycles hahaha!  And Minho plays three saxophones at the same time!

♥ SS501 Cut.  Finally some of SS501 ♥.  One of the guests is really strong… although it’s pretty hilarious how Kang Ho Dong can do the exact same things with ease :D.   He splits an apple with his thumb and lifts that girl effortlessly.  Hyunjoong had a hard time swinging the girl around, but he did manage to pick up Jo Hye Run!  (It’s too funny how “ALMOST PARADIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISE~!!!!” gets played everytime Hyunjoong does something lol.)  There’s also a cute part where Hyunjoong, Baby, and Kyujong team up the armwrestle the guest!

♥ t-ara Cut.  I love these girls ♥♥♥.    I really like the part where they’re singing during the guy’s saxophone performance :).

Haven’t watched the full show yet, but I’ll edit this post if I find more cuts :).

EDIT: I … missed out on SuJu’s 4th anniversary on 11/6/09 :((((.  Happy belated 4th anniversary to one of the most cracky and lovable groups out there ♥.

Kangin On YSMM (1/14)

It’s the last episode of YSMM (until they come back for season 2, maybe) and muish subbed the entire episode, so you better go tell her you love her :). I’ve seen all the subbed videos of this show; everyone that came on it was so honest and interesting … I’m sad to see it ending. I had no idea it had been on air for so long, since 2003! awrskdj;asdkj a lot of the really good variety shows, like Xman and Love Letter, have ended ~ I need to find more shows to watch lol. *clings to Explorers Of the Human Body*

I’m not too familiar with all the guests, but they were all funny with interesting stories to tell. Bae Seul Gi’s story about how she got into a fight while drunk was hilarious XDD. As was KHK taking credit for all sorts of musical styles, lol! And PJH’s story about stealing coins from a fountain brings back memories. I definitely used to do that (steal coins from fountains, not steal money from a store!) when I was younger, but I don’t remember feeling too bad about it … XD! I don’t do that anymore, I promise.

Kangin tells some interesting stories about his ex-girlfriend, all of which made me die. Really. It doesn’t help that he looks absolutely gorgeous in this; I love his hair. I love that story about how his gf dressed up nicely when they went to meet his friends because she wanted to look pretty as his gf. HE ACTUALLY SAID, “I WANTED TO PINCH HER CHEEKS.” sdjfkljdklsjfkleifjd ♥♥♥. I also love how he explodes with laughter when KHD asks him, “Did you kiss her then?!” LOL! I adore KHD; he’s just too much ♥. I was dying when Kangin says he also kissed his gf on the forehead and KHD goes, “Did the kiss move up from the hand?” XDDD!! He also talked about showing his gf a photo of all the SuJu members and I rly, rly want to know who her “He is soooo good looking; did he get plastic surgery on his nose?” comment was directed at. My guess is Eeteuk, but you never know! AND AND I CAN TOTALLY IMAGINE HIM BEING ALL SHY AND TIMID ABOUT MEETING HIS GF’S PARENTS SJFEKLDJFEIFJDLKS ♥. How adorable. His little battles with KHK’s were hilarious, too. Especially when Kangin turns up the aegyo and pokes him in the belly and starts playing with his moustache XDDDDDDD!!

Ah I’ll really miss this show! I’m gonna go re-watch the DBSK episode right now because Changmin talking about his “videos” and back hair CRACKS ME UP EVERY TIME. And then some of the Heechul episodes because he seriously has some of the most entertaining stories ever! I can’t get enough of him talking about Mufasa’s death scene in Lion King or his Hankyung imitations ^____________^.

Heechul + Hannie YSMM Subbed!

muishie is amazing~~~! Please do visit her youtube page and leave her a comment! I’ve been waiting for this quite anxiously since I first heard they were gonna be on YSMM together (and an added bonus is that Kim Dong Wan of Shinhwa is also there! Am gonna add a Shinhwa tag right now because I’ve been watching their videos recently and sdjkfljdfkdlj they are so funny! Especially Dong Wan; he might be my favorite ^^.) I’m actually running late for school so I have to watch this later, but I thought I’d post the links anyway! Do watch! I was reading the comments on the video and a lot of them are like, “omg best YSMM episode ever!” and “they are all so funny!” I’ll edit this post this evening with my thoughts, which will probably be totally incoherent anyway, so yeah, go watch it!

EDIT: oh gad, I just realized Sung Si Kyung was in this as well!!! muishie just subbed mostly the Heechul/Hannie/Dong Wan cuts, but it’s still exciting to see him there. I loooooove Sung Si Kyung. I think I’ll add a tag for him, too; he’s actually one of my favorite solo singers + he’s funny and nerdy as hell + I’ll spazz about him later.

EDIT 2: So I gave in and watched it. LOL. It was hilarious!! Omg, everything about it was so funny. First of all, their introductions were so lol-worthy; this is where Heechul grabs Hannie and pretends to kiss him XD *dies*. Heechul did all of it so fast, I swear Hannie must have whiplash or something now! And of course, they make fun of Hannie’s Korean, even though I think he got a lot better! At one point, Hannie tells Heechul to stop interrupting him and Heechul yells back, “Hey, if I don’t talk for you, who will understand you?!?!?!?!!!” They’re both so cute! And they were holding hands at certain points of the interview ♥.  Heechul was amazing, as usual.  He’s really, really smart; he HAS to be to have a witty reply to everything!  And I mean EVERYTHING.  I love the bit in part 2 where all the ladies are saying good stuff about him and he’s just sighing or saying things like, “You’re totally in love with me!!!”  (I REALLY AM IN LOVE WITH YOU, HEECHUL ♥.)  Heenim also looked really handsome/pretty on the show (I don’t blame those ladies for staring at him XD); I love how his hair is slicked up like that sdjfkdlsjfklds.  Also! Heechul’s wit must be rubbing off on Hannie, because Hannie had a lot of sharp answers as well XDD.  Hannie got to say a few words to his parents in China (he’s such a good son, awww ~~ his parents should be really proud of how amazing their son turned out to be) and Heechul was helping him wipe his eyes and sdjfkldsjfkldjfkldj omg Hanchul, never leave me T___T!! It was really, really sweet. Heechul would stare at Hannie with his big eyes whenever Hannie was talking and vice versa XD. The ending part with Heechul and KHD bantering was also priceless. Heechul is SO GOOD at the comebacks; gotta love him for it. Poor KHD XDDDD.

SuJu On Star King

Really one of the best Star King episodes I’ve EVER seen (although not really for the talents, just for SuJu XD; if you want to see a Star King eppy where the talents are really wonderful, I’d suggest either the eppy with CSJH The Grace as guests or the Star King China special). I love SuJu. I freaking love them. I can’t even put into words right now how much I love them. Highlights for me (I’ll probably add to this list later when I watch it again) ~~ Kyuhyun singing “A Whole New World” (that girl he sang it with was SO GOOD ~~ definitely someone to keep an eye on!), Teukie doing the spazz dance (lmao what a dork ♥), Siwon showing off his abs (*dies*), the boys being dorky (lol when are they not?), Henry rocking out to the violin (sooooo good!), all the SuJu loving (homg I could practically feel all the loving coming out of my computer screen XD), and really …. just everything. I’m so happy to see them all together.

Anyway, back to that clip up there. It was hilarious cause Kangin asked her, “Which one (out of SuJu) do you like the best?” And she points at Kyuhyun and says, “Hmmm I think this one is the best!” Yesung was sitting in front of Kyuhyun so Yesungie stands up, all me? me?, and Kyuhyun pushes him back down XDD. ROFLMAO! That part where Kyuhyun was singing made me cry (I’m such a girl, lol). Especially cause while they were singing, there were some cuts to articles and footage of the accident ;____;. Made me realize how much I missed that kid. His voice is WONDERFUL. And then you can see Teukie in the audience crying (I love him; he’s so motherly) and man that was just water-works for me. Later KHD asked Teukie why he was crying and Teukie said something like, “I’m glad Kyuhyun is back with us.” ME TOO, TEUKIE. SuJu is complete again. I love them.

Two really cute girls (4 and 6 years old) come out and the boys go crazy over them.  It’s so adorable how they are battling for the girls’ attention. I DIED WHEN ONE OF THEM PICKS SIWON AND KISSES HIM. He makes a bunch of great expressions. Oh! And the second girl picks HaHa and THE DUDE LOOKS ECSTATIC LOLOLOL!  He even says, after the girl picks him, “I’ve just beaten 11 Super Junior members over there” XDDDD. Also, please freeze the frame at 5:12 and LOL over Donghae and Yesung’s expressions! Yesung is DYING 8D. Actually all of SuJu is dying; gosh, they’ll all make such great daddies one day ^^. MUST WATCH!
♥ SiWon’s Abs Are Real – *dies*!! They’re real! And they’re gorgeous (and Teukie looks so proud, lmao)!! Heechul, who was sitting next to Siwon, sorta grabs Siwon’s shirt and tries to pull it up and Siwonnie looks so embarassed!! LOLOLOL!
♥ Popping Balloons – oh this is so, so, soooooooooo cute! Thanks to jess9450 in the comments of the video for helping us understand this: the guy kicked all the balloons out except for Heechul’s (and so many LOLS @ Donghae reaching out to just pop it XD). So KHD asked the guy why he didn’t kick out Heechul’s, and the guy says that he had a special interest in Heechul. OMG I DIED SO MUCH WHEN I READ THAT AND WENT BACK TO WATCH THE CLIP. HOMG. I TOLD YOU HE WAS PRETTY. EVEN GUYS FIND HIM PRETTY. (And whyyyy do you look so surprised, Heechul? You’re pretty, end of story. ILU x infinity.)

EDIT: I think … I’ll be capping this in a bit. TOO GOOD NOT TO! And it’s more for me than anything else, lol, I JUST HAVE TO SPAAAAAZZZ!!! But for the time being, there are some really good and clear caps on bestiz!

Hankyung On Star King China Special

Before I say anything else, please be sure to vote for Hankyung to carry the torch at the 2008 Olympics! Instructions are HERE.

This was definitely one of the best Star King episodes I’ve ever seen, maybe even the best. I usually only watch these things for the guest judges (like I’ve seen the ones with DBSK, SuJu, SuJu T (Heechul cried in one episode and it was sdjfkldfjkdjf adorable and omg I love him), CSJH The Grace, F.T Island, etc.), but I’m thinking I should start watching more of the episodes for the talents and the regular judges XDD. Kang Ho Dong FTW.

Anyway, there was a Star King China special (recently subbed by GOE;SS) and Hankyung was on it. I loved Hankyung from the moment I saw him on Full House (how could you not love this dude?! He’s just so adorable and I love him being the butt of all of Heechul’s jokes XD) and the only reason I don’t spazz about him as much as the others is because I hardly ever see him with the rest of SuJu unfortunately! He hadn’t been performing with SuJu for a while (due to his visa problems and because he was doing promotional duties in China), so when I saw him performing with the rest of SuJu on the 9.21 Music Bank comeback special, I was ecstatic! And he was on Sukira too!! ^^ I missed him a lot. I really hope he gets his visa problems worked out soon, because he’s a wonderful performer and I want to see him with the rest of SuJu all the time!

He was really, really, reaaaaaaaaaaally cute on this Star King episode. Kang Ho Dong introduces everyone and Hankyung runs up to KHD and gives him a hug, telling him, “I wanted to see you~~” AWWWW! Yes, KHD and Hankyung are really good friends; I actually think Hankyung (and Heechul and Yunho) were all at KHD’s wedding last year :).

First guest was this verrrrrry tall man (2m 40 cm tall!! I can’t convert that into inches right now, but it’s really tall XD). KHD and Hankyung aren’t exactly short (I believe they are both over 6 feet tall), but they looked positively tiny next to the guy! ROFL. Then they played this game where the guy and KHD held a piece of rope and they had to step over it. All of them were doing poorly except for Miss Korea (yes, she was on the show!!) and Hankyung. Miss Korea has crazy flexibility and really long legs, so she was doing just fine. Meanwhile, Hankyung was doing these awesome flip-in-the-air cartwheels over the rope and everyone was like sfjkdlfjksdlfjlkdjf and OMG!!!

KHD steps on a ledge to make the rope even higher and then he dares Hankyung to try it. Hannie runs toward it all ready to do an awesome cartwheel again, but at the last minute, he runs up to KHD and does some “aegyo~~”. XDD. It was so cute! Ah they’re so cute together; you can tell KHD really, really likes him (also, watch Hannie’s appearances on Love Letter ~ KHD LOVES him (and Heechul and Yunho)). All the other people there seem to really like Hannie, too, especially Haha! It’s cause he’s SO NICE.

Next guest was a guy who could swallow stuff and then spit it back up. He actually swallowed a live goldfish sdjfkldjfkd. Everyone was like, sdfjksdlfjksdlfj. Hannie looks shocked and mildly disgusted. And KHD is so grossed out that he has to look away and rest his head on Hannie’s shoulder sdjfklsdjfkd TOO CUTE!!

Next guest was a child food-fighter; everyone called him “KHD’s mini-me” XDDD. KHD was very taken with him, as you can see, lol. And so was Hannie! APPRECIATE HOW CUTE HANNIE IS. HE IS SO CUTE!!!! And sexy too! He’s simultaneously cute and sexy. BEST CHINESE KID IN THE WORLD!

I was actually fortunate enough to see one of these shows when I was in Shanghai this past summer. Silk ballet is djfkdlfjkd gorgeous ~~ it looks so peaceful and graceful, but I imagine it must be very difficult to perform. You gotta be pretty strong to do that!! This is a billion times more impressive on video, so go find it on youtube. My caps cannot do it justice. Here’s Hannie and everyone else appreciatin’.

After the performance is over, everyone asks the two performers if they’re dating because they look so close while they’re performing. The performers are like, “NOOOOOOO,” rofl. So KHD asks the two performers to pick their ideal partners. The girl chooses Hankyung without even looking at any of the other men and all the guys are like sjfkdlfjksdlfjkd WAIT YOU HAVE TO AT LEAST COME AND LOOK AT US FIRST! So she walks toward them with her head down, doesn’t look at any of the other guys, and walks right back to Hannie XDDDDD.

So she gets in the silk lines and lifts Hannie. He makes a scared noise (SO CUTE!!!), “oooooaaaaaaooo,” and then starts shouting “Sweat! Sweat! Sweat” (as in his hands are sweaty and he’s slipping roflmao), while KHD and company laugh their asses off. ME TOO XDDD.

For shits and giggles: the amazing KHD trying to do some silk ballet. LOL! I WORSHIP THIS MAN.

Next act was equally amazing…these people were swinging on poles and then flipping to other poles. Think House Of Flying Daggers, except without the CGI. I thought it was amazing!! Later, the performers let KHD and company try to swing on the poles themselves. Hannie and Haha got on one and Hannie (on the left) threw a water balloon for Sayeon (one of the regular judges, VERY funny XD) to catch in the bucket.

Instead of catching it, SHE TRIES TO EAT IT. OR SOMETHING. IDEK!! I was laughing so hard sjdfklsdjflkdj roflmaoooo!! KHD was yelling in the background, “SHE MUST HAVE MOMENTARILY THOUGHT IT WAS AN ORANGE.” OMG. Korean entertainment = the best! I LOVE KANG HO DONG AND MC YOO AND ALL THOSE WONDERFUL K-VARIETY SHOWS (maybe I’ll do a pimp post on my favorite ones soon ^^). The only other act that can even compare, for me at least, is Downtown, those two guys that host Hey!Hey!Hey! (Japanese music show, where they insult and poke fun at the guests, all for fun of course). I love that they don’t take themselves too seriously ~~ I have yet to find anything as cracktastic and ridiculous on American television. And J-dramas >>>>>> American dramas. (LOL Grey’s Anatomy? WHAT IS THAT DDDD:) Which is probably why I don’t watch American television anymore …. I think I’d rather watch UNSUBBED Asian stuff than American television ^^.

Last guest was this TV producer who likes to chew vases and lightbulbs and other dangerous objects. YEAH! You actually read that correctly: A TV PRODUCER. Everyone was like, “Why do you do this if you’re a TV producer?!” LOL! Here’s KHD going “OMG!” and Hannie looking amazed XDDD.

VERY enjoyable Star King episode. Go download it! Hannie was soooooooooooo cute and adorable and amazing in this episode *squishes him*. And KHD is pretty much my hero! And the talents were freaking wonderful, end of story :).
