JJ Lin World Tour 2009 CF

His world tour kicks off March 28th in Singapore … I was poking around in some forums and his blog but didn’t see anything else about other dates/locations (lol maybe because I can’t read Chinese) XDD;;;.  BUT I WILL START PRAYING HARD FOR HIM TO MAKE A STOP IN THE U.S.  Preferably on the West Coast, but I think I am crazy enough to fly to the East Coast just to see him perform live (although finding money and time to do it is a different matter XD).

I wanted to go to his collaboration Vegas concert so badly, but the fact that he had to share the stage with other artists (less time for JJ and he was the only artist I was interested in) kind of deterred me from that XD;;.   But a full JJ Lin concert?   EARGASM ♥!!!

Favorite Music of 2008

I thought I’d do something like this since the year is winding down to an end and there was so much good music released this year aljsdkfls!  I’m also very open to music recommendations, so it’d be great if you guys could do something like this too lol :).   (Someone please recc me some English music; I don’t even know what’s in anymore.  Oh and more female artists too, please? ^^)  Also, dramas, movies, books, crack moments, etc, etc … lol fine this is just a thinly-veiled plea for recommendations.  I think I’ve seen a total of eight new movies this year and read probably … two books that aren’t textbooks *sighs*.

JJ Lin Releases ‘Sixology’

This was one of my most anticipated albums all year and it’s fiiiiiiiinally here OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG.  JJ LIN ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.  DID I EVER MENTION THAT HE IS MY FAVORITE SOLO ARTIST EVER SLDJFKSL.  Just got through listening to all of ‘Sixology’ and it’s a really terrific album: great variety of songs and his voice is as beautiful as ever *____*.  I need to listen to it a few more times before I can compare it to his other albums, though, and then it’d still be hard cause I love all of his albums :D ♥.  Please support him by purchasing his album if you can :).

‘I Still Miss Her‘ is my favorite off the album so far.  ;_________;  ♥♥♥♥♥!!!!  I WILL SEE HIM PERFORM LIVE ONE DAY.  I WILLLLLLLLLLLLL.  EVEN IF I HAVE TO SWIM ACROSS THE PACIFIC OCEAN.  I DON’T EVEN SWIM ALL THAT WELL (I know this is a travesty since I live on an island lmao), SO I THINK THIS APPROPRIATELY CONVEYS HOW DESPERATE I AM.

♥ Cries In A Distance.  WAIT, IT’S GETTING HARD TO PICK A FAVORITE NOW.  This one could be my favorite too, I dunno.  I think if I ever heard this song sang live, I would cry like a baby.  It’s all in English (with the melody of ‘Always Online’) and the lyrics are absolutely haunting … especially in the chorus: “Cause all I hear is 3-2-1 / the scream from the guns / and then one by one / no one gets to run…”.

♥ 主角 (feat. Machi).  Ohhhhhhh ♥.  Aggressive beat and insanely catchy; love the rapping!  I need to look up Machi too, cause I really like what I’m hearing.

♥ Lord Vader.  LSDJFKLS.  This was the song I was most excited for after listening to the 24s preview and alsjdfklsdfjkdls omg such a great song!!!!!!  THE CHORUS KILLS ME ♥.  I can’t wait to read translated lyrics; I hear Ashin of Mayday wrote this and Ashin is a damn good writer.  His voice is just stunning in this one as well, especially when he hits the high note at 2:54.

More JJ Lin 6th Album Previews

Thanks so much to megantlg for this information!!  You can listen to half-minute previews of the songs on his upcoming album HERE.  I AM SO EXCITED!!!  It already sounds epic; I’m really enjoying ‘黑武士’ in particular ♥.  It’s gonna be another ‘Cao Cao’ (my favorite JJ Lin song ever) for me, I can feel it.  AND!  There will be a handful of collaborations on this album, including ones with Ashin of Mayday (Taiwanese rock band), Hong Kong’s FAMA, and Taiwan’s Machi.  I’m not too familiar with the last two groups (they’re hip-hop groups, I think), but LSDJFKLSD A COLLABORATION WITH ASHIN OF MAYDAY?!?!  ♥♥♥!  Mayday is one of my favorite groups ever; this should be an interesting collaboration.  Can’t wait to hear it!

Album’s out October 18th!  Still not up for preorder on yesasia, though :(.  UP ON YESASIA!!  FOURTEEN NEW SONGS OMG.  NEVER LEAVE ME, JJ LIN.

More Info On JJ Lin’s 6th Studio Album

So!  His album is supposed to be out on October 15th (or 18th, maybe?), which is about a week away omg ♥.  (It’s been way too long since ‘West Side’!  Which has sold 1,750,000 copies to date, btw.  GO JJ!)  According to wikipedia, his 6th studio album will be entitled ‘Land’ … can’t seem to find it on yesasia at the moment, though.  Will edit this post when it’s available to order~!

kkandy4mee also provided these preview links to his songs!  I’m loving all of them, although I do kind of hope there’s more variety on the actual album.  And lol actually I wouldn’t mind either way, cause his voice always elevates his material.  Always.  Just like pinkandsparkly, I TOTALLY WANT TO MARRY HIS VOICE TOO :DDD.
♥ Drunken Red Cliff.  Love the traditional instruments in this ♥.
♥ 小酒窝.  I’m not a fan of Charlene Choi or Twins, but this is quite a nice duet imo.  The music video makes me want to combust from cuteness.  TRUFAX.  WHY SO CUTE, JJ.
♥ Always Online.  I was so addicted to the one minute preview that was leaked a long time ago and alsjdfkls the whole song makes me very happy.  Love this; classic JJ Lin.
