IU On ‘Concert Feel’ (8/5)

Her covers are so amazing ♥.   She’s one of those few artists (Park Hyo Shin is the other one I can think of at the moment) that really makes another artist’s song her own.   She covered ‘Gee’ and ‘Sorry Sorry’ again — where was ‘Lies’?!  LOL just joking.  But I must take this opportunity to link to a fancam of Jonghyun (from SHINee) *__*-ing while IU sings ‘Lies’ on Star Golden Bell :DDD.   And this one of him listening to her sing ‘Juliette’!   The look on his face is just … a;sldkfja;sdk ♥.  *sighs and dodges  Jonghyun fans*

Some Recent IU Clips

This girl is my love ♥.  Yeah, I know have way too many girlcrushes.

♥ Music Bank; SHINee + IU – Juliette.     IU sings an acoustic version of ‘Juliette’ in the beginning of the video, for about 30 seconds, and it was really, really, really lovely like all of her acoustic covers have been ♥.   And I don’t even really like ‘Juliette’ lol.  (No offense; I’m still a big SHINee fan, but I really wish they’d promote another song already ^^;;;;;.   They’re talented and shiny and I know they can do so much better than ‘Juliette’.  AND SOMEONE JUST NEEDS TO REWORK THEIR ENTIRE WARDROBE.)

♥ SuHo + IU – 월화수목금토일 (Mon-Tues-Wed-Thurs-Fri-Sat-Sun).   This is such a sweet song ♥.  IU sounds fantastic in this; I love how she can definitely belt out notes (MIA MIA MIA MIA MIA), but she can also make her voice sound so delicate and light.  She’s super cute with SuHo in the MV too ♥.  (Also read on sookyeong that she got to meet Kim Tae Woo (of g.o.d) while working on this song :D.  MAYBE A FUTURE COLLABORATION?  :DDD?  They both have such nice voices!)

IU On Yoo Hee Yeol’s ‘Sketchbook’ (7/3)

You know I love this girl, you know I worship her! ♥!   I’m not familiar with this music show (is it new or have I just been missing out on another awesome music show?!), but I really loved IU’s performances on it.  I embedded the clip of her covering SNSD’s ‘Gee’, Big Bang’s ‘Lies’, and SuJu’s ‘Sorry Sorry’ since those covers are just a;lskjflksj amazing, but she also performed some of her own songs :).   IU was fantastic, the audience was very supportive, and the host looked starry-eyed :DDDD!   I absolutely loved how she sang that one line in ‘Sorry Sorry’ so cheekily at 3:30 and the host is like OH SNAP SHE’S ONTO ME.

I think she, like 2AM (they’re ridiculously good and need more love), is one of those artists that have crazy amounts of talent, but just need better songs that show off their vocal prowess.  I don’t think songs like ‘Boo’ do her voice any justice at all, but I really love the acoustic songs she does and of course ‘Mia’ was EPIC.  I’m looking forward to seeing her take more control of her own music, because she’s a very, very talented girl and if her company just let her run with it, she could be even more amazing than she is now.  The cute concept should be freaking retired already.

♥ Bizniz – Suga Luv (feat. IU).   The combination of her vocals with his rapping is just lovely ♥♥♥.   I hope IU gets to collaborate with many more artists, sort of like what Younha has been doing :).  Epik High x IU, please!  I’m still waiting for another song as epic as ‘Umbrella’ ♥~.
♥ Sukira – EunTeuk Talk About IU.  They’re playing ‘Boo’ on Sukira; Eeteuk remarks, “She’s cute~” and Eunhyuk says that IU (he calls her Ji Eun) is like his little sister ♥.  *screams*  THAT IS SO CUTE LAKSJDF:ALKJDFS.   (Eunhyuk seems like a fun person to be around, I’m jealous lolololol.)  Eeteuk asks Eunhyuk to introduce IU to him XDDD.

SuJu Wins #1 On Music Bank (5/22); SJ-M In Pepsi CF; IU Covering ‘Sorry Sorry’

I’ve been really fail at uploading this place, sorry!  :(   THANK YOU to everyone that’s linked to stuff; I just stole your links and I was also very tempted to steal your comments too, but I thought that would be rude if I didn’t ask first XD.   SO!  Consolidationnnnnn.

♥ Music Bank; It’s You Performance.  Thanks to iheartmeowing and ennairacm for the heads up!  I don’t think I will ever get tired of this song ♥♥♥.  EVER!   Lovely performance; everyone’s hair looks a little bit better than the Inkigayo one too.  (DUDE, HOW FAST DOES HEECHUL’S HAIR GROW?!)

♥ Music Bank; SuJu Wins!!   Only their second official performance of this song and they’ve already won for it :D :D :D.   I feel really happy for them (although I love 2PM too XD) and I’m sure it’s the first award of very many!!  (They had better win a lot of end-year awards too ♥.)  ennairacm points out that SuJu actually received 0’s in two of the categories, but they still won anyway lol :D.  Very touching clip; the boys look really happy, there’s some crying, some mad bowing and congratulatory hugs between 2PM and SuJu, etc, etc.  And don’t miss the encore!  Yesung sings everyone’s lines hahaha!

♥ SJ-M in Pepsi CF.  Thanks klamchops for the heads up!  I don’t think those pics of them in their (rather horrible and funny) Pepsi outfits were ever posted here, but I just have to say THANK GOODNESS they aren’t wearing them in this CF lol.  There’s only a little bit of SJ-M in here, but it’s still pretty neat to see that they’re shooting CFs with some pretty big Chinese stars :D.  I think Zhou Mi mentioned he was a fan of Louis Koo (the guy that they leave behind lmao) ^^.   A blonde Lee JunKi is also featured!

♥ IU Covering ‘Sorry Sorry’.  Thanks idyllsend for the heads up!  IU ♥♥♥♥♥.  She plays the guitar and sings ‘Sorry Sorry’ and is accompanied by Sandara Park’s brother :D!  I love love love her voice and to see her playing the guitar too?!  PWNAGE.   Keep an eye on this talent!
