SMTown 09 Album – DBSK, SuJu, SHINee

ZOMG XDDD.   An SMTown album!  I think the last one was way back in Winter 2007 and I love these sorts of things for the MV they usually put out + all the BTS + SMTown interaction, but I wonder if that’s going to happen this year with DBSK’s lawsuit still ongoing :(.  But anyway!  This song is so, so, SO ADORABLE.  Seriously, it’s something I could and would listen to over and over again (and not just to figure out who is singing what!); I especially love Junsu’s part at 1:20.  And… I join lyphta (braintwin XD!) in being totally amused by the “ARRRRROHA THIS IS SMTOWN FROM KOREA!!!!  AMIGOOOOOOOOO!!!!” in the beginning, lol.   WHO IS THAT?!   Cause that person deserves a shiny star.   Also, the always dependendable Yoochun supplies the fantastic English line, “MOVE YOUR HOT BUTT.”  CRIES, THAT’S SO GENIUS.

Read more info about the album here!   ‘Seaside’ is their collab song, but each group will release their own song and I’m totally excited 8D.  Especially for SHINee’s song ‘Scar’, a “powerful dance song” yeahhhhh!   I hope it’s awesome cause I know they can do better than ‘Juliette’.  And it’s slightly weird that none of the girls are participating … my CSJH deprivation is getting to be too much :(.

Thanks so much to nanshi for the heads up!  A CLEAR VERSION!!!  Be sure to snag this.   You, uh, actually don’t hear too much of K.R.Y in this never mind they’re not singing in this version at all ^^;;, but Yoo Young Jin has a GREAT voice, my goodness.  It has like the perfect amount of rasp in it.  I LIKE!  Very much.   It’s perfect for R&B songs.  It’s not enough that he has to be an amazing composer (he written a ton of SMTown hits, like ‘Rising Sun’, ‘O.Jung.Ban.Hap’, ‘Girls On Top’, ‘Purple Line’, … I think he even did SHINee’s ‘Replay’ …!), he has to have one hell of a voice too.  So talented *__*.

If you want to hear more of K.R.Y (where they sing more of the stanzas), I would recommend checking out the live version they performed at Super Show 2.   Y’all know how much I admire K.R.Y’s voices, so this version is just as amazing ♥.  Definitely looking forward to a clear version of this too~.

‘Infinity Challenge’ (7/11)

Thanks to piecesofporcelain and allkpop for the heads up and to smint134 for uploading these cuts onto youtube :)!  I really enjoyed these performances … some big names in music + Infinity Challenge regulars = epic ♥.   I loved all the performances, but was really feeling the MC Yoo + Tiger JK + T ‘Let’s Dance’ collab the most.  I’ve never seen MC Yoo look this, well, cool ♥____♥.   Added some mp3 download links ^^.  Behind the cut!

Kyuhyun – ‘7 Year’s Love’

Youtube’s not working for me at the moment, but piecesofporcelain tells me that Kyu doesn’t actually appear in the MV, he just sings the song.  But this is like … EAR CANDY.  Do I even need to say that this is highly recommended?  ♥♥♥!  His voice is so, so, so gorgeous.   I love this song too; I think Kyuhyun can sing anything, but songs like this are, in particular, made for his kind of deep, rich voice.  mp3 download link!

BTW, thanks for sending all those links in!  You know who you are ♥!  I’ll be sure to catch up once youtube and work lets me; thank goodness there’s a 3 day weekend coming up.  (Speaking of work, I seriously find one of my residents ridiculously attractive :(.  I got to scrub into a surgery with him today and all I did was hold the damn retractor for like 4 hours, but it was GREAT!  Y’all know how much I love side profiles and you get to stand really, really close to them in surgeries*grins*.)

DBSK Singing ‘Stand By U’ On NHK (6/21)

This is … just … so … beautiful *sighs happily*.   ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥  They sang the full song!  And were flawless, imo.   Everything about the performance was so perfect: their voices, the emotion, the stage, everything.  Also, I know my bias might play into this, but god I love Yunho’s part from 3:36 to 3:45 ;__;.
