SMTOWN 2009!!!

AUGUST 16TH, 2009!!! I will be stuck on this island doing my Psych rotation (which I’m actually really looking forward to :D), but am posting this up here because I’m happy it’s official!! YES. The one last year was epic and I expect this year’s one to be too (although WTH no CSJH or BoA, really?). YOU SHOULD GO IF YOU EVEN REMOTELY LIKE SM GROUPS AND ARE IN KOREA AT THE TIME. I had the time of my life last year and that concert was before the release of DBSK’s 4th album, SuJu’s 3rd album, etc — which means A LOT OF FREAKING GOOD SONGS.  And the potential for collaborations.  ‘Xiahtic’ with Eunhyuk rapping would make me so happy ♥.  AND I HOPE TO GOD THEY PERFORM ‘HEARTQUAKE’ AT THE CONCERT.

I’m curious about the “special guests” bit ~ that sounds exciting, but mostly I hope that it gets changed to “CSJH” and “BoA” :).

(I love the new F.T Island album ♥!  It should please fans of their other albums since they are still emo-rock songs, but there are also quite a few upbeat cheerful pop-rock tunes.  The first track 빙빙빙 is so fun.  I love it!  Will post more tomorrow.)

    • I just wanna add, I didn’t know they will have one this year! It’s really quite a suprise… but a good one that I am glad and v happy… Coz last year they took so long to finish the esp BKK’s date was brought over to this year… and I read your epic spazz posts that you were there last year… Damn I really wish I will be able to go for one of this before I am way too old!!!

  3. DDD: SM FAMILY!
    Do they do this concert every year? Because I just might be in the general vicinity (Japan, etc. xD) next summer, and if so, I shall NOT lose the chance to go (: This year… um I’ll at least be on the same continent? India seems so detached from the rest of Asia though xD stupid subcontinent thing.

    Anyhow. I totally join you in hoping desperately for CSJH/BoA as guests but… ugh what if they aren’t :( I want to see DBSK/CSJH interaction! And BoA just rocking it on stage.

    To those who go: well, um, bring me with you? 8D but as a more reasonable request, scream louddd for fandom!

    p.s. Psychology rotation sounds so cool O.o I enjoyed my psychology class in school a lot even though it was one of those filler, I-need-to-do-something-with-this-period types.

      Another group I hope they bring back: the TRAX! I can't believe I forgot to mention them *headdesk*. But yeah, definitely BoA and CSJH! Especially CSJH, who have been MIA since forever D:

      I'm soooo looking forward to it. :D OB Gyn really isn't for me. This sounds terrible, but the whole "the springing of life" thing got super old after like three deliveries D:

        OMG I have to tell you this! I was cleaning up the patio at work when this police officer pulls out a customer and stand next to me. They talk, fall to the ground punching each other, the guy pulls out a knife and the police officer whips his gun out; I’m just standing there scared to death.

        I’m happy they pretended like I was invisible, but I was freaked out! Five cop cars drive in, pull me out and there are at least ten police officers standing there handling the guy. OMG!! My knees are still shaking :(

    • I’m probably like 100 pages behind on soompi; haven’t checked it in a week! But thanks for that excerpt! I have to say: YEP. That’s Yunho for you XDDD. He’s such a boy-man lol. I can’t say too much cause I’m pretty clumsy myself, but I.. uh, at least I KNOW HOW TO SEND TEXT MESSAGES! :D

      I’m really looking forward to it … maybe less for the rotation itself, but because of the hours! Only four hours everyday and weekends off, that’s like a vacation compared to the 13-14hr days + one weekend day we’re doing now XDD. And I will try not to go crazy myself, lololololol
