SMTown Live 2008 in Korea, Part 4

To answer questions first ^^:
1. About getting tickets, the concert was sponsored by the Korea National Tourism Organization, so I just contacted them and they were really nice and helpful :).
2. I’m currently staying in another hotel in Myeongdong (the Pacific Hotel, which is somewhat pricey but not split amongst friends XD), but I think there are lots of cheap hostels around Korea.  (I’ll e-mail you, KuKKIEZ!)
3. Anyone other fangirls in Korea that want to meet up?  :)  I know this isn’t an answer to a question, hush XDD.
4. Okay, this one really isn’t an answer lmao, but we’re like the worst stalkers ever and basically, we really need help trying to find the SM building, Sukira, Junsu’s dad’s pizza shop, and … music shows XDD;;.  Any help would be greatly appreciated ♥.

Guh, I know this will be hard to read because it’s gonna be like … giant blocks of text :(.  Sorry!  I don’t have pictures from the second part, but if you look on DNBN or soompi (I haven’t checked there since before I left and I think I’m gonna give up back-logging lol), I’m sure there are tons and tons of great pictures :).  My recollection of part 2 of the concert is also pretty muddled (I was trying to write down the songs they performed in order, but I eventually abandoned that for my glowstick XD), so I am sure I’ve probably forgot about some songs or messed up the order or whatever~.

The intermission was about 15 minutes long and had clips of all the SM Town artists since pretty much the beginning, I think.  They showed H.O.T’s ‘Candy’, ‘Haengbok’, and ‘IYAH’ music videos, for example.  It was really pretty nice to see clips from the older artists and artists that have already left SM (Shinhwa, Fly To The Sky, etc.).  BoA’s clips got a really nice response from the crowd imo and people started chanting “KWON BOA!  KWON BOA!”  Well, she is the princess of SM, lol.  Then, there were clips of DBSK, the TRAX (lmao, my friend and I were going crazy here; it also hurts that they debuted after DBSK and they still haven’t released a 2nd album and no one has heard any news about them in ages), CSJH, Super Junior, Zhang Li Yin, etc.  And then the video announced that the next portion of the concert would be SMP, so stuff like ‘O.Jung.Ban.Hap’, ‘Don’t Don’, ‘One More Time, OK?’, etc.  It was also around this time that I was really, really regretting not having enough foresight to pack an extra camera battery.  DAMN!

SMP also meant that most of the following performances were lipsynched lol, but in all honesty, the performances are so much fun to watch that it’s hard to care about the lipsynching.  It’s one of those ~in the moment~ things, I guess.  I really can’t remember the order in which they performed these (cause it was just back to back Super Junior and DBSK, with one CSJH performance thrown in), just the songs that they did perform, so I’m just squishing everything together … apologies in advance!  SuJu kicked things off with an amazing performance of Twins (Knockout),  which was a real crowd pleaser ♥♥♥.  Wasn’t this their debut song?  It was amazing, just the whole energy of the performance and the fire and stuff.  AND WHAT THEY WERE WEARING.  It didn’t have as big a shock factor as DBSK (of course not, DBSK went naked, pretty much), but they looked really, really, really handsome and hot in those black suits.  They also performed ‘Don’t Don’ and ‘Man In Love’, which are like my two favorite SuJu songs, so ajskdlfjkls I was freaking out so bad, roflmao.  I LOVED THE DON’T DON PERFORMANCE.  THE PELVIC THRUSTS JUST KIIIIIILLED!!  And I definitely think Hankyung does them the best XD.  Donghae also really stood out to me, especially when he sang that opening line and like … swiveled XDD.  How do I describe it?  But it was MAD SEXY and you know, I think the way his hair was flying around might have been a part of it.  And I really loved when Henry showed up!  He was super cool ♥.  I was surprised to see him there, although I don’t really know why I was…  I don’t know if ELF still has something against him, but the but the people we were sitting with were all cheering like mad lol.  The friend I was with got up on her chair again :DD.  And ‘Man In Love’ was positively WICKED!!  I’ve never appreciated the choreography of their songs as much as I did that night, I think.  It’s hard for two people to coordinate dance moves, but THIRTEEN?!  ♥♥♥♥♥!  I think this was also the performance where Eeteuk teased his shirt up and IT WAS SEXY AS HELL!  That part where the song goes “let’s all go down to the basement” and they get down on their knees and slam their hands on the ground was also insane ♥.  AND THEN KYU DID HIS LITTLE HIP ROLLS AND GOD WHY DOES HE DO THIS TO ME ;__________________;.

When DBSK came out, I really thought I was dreaming.  LOL.  But seriously, SO MUCH EXPOSED FLESH!!!  ESPECIALLY WITH JAEJOONG, HOLY SHIIIIIIIIIT.  He was wearing this jacket over, um, NOTHING, so you could see his very, very nice abs.  That boy is cut.  And when he sang the opening lines of ‘O.Jung.Ban.Hap’, he flipped the jacket back off his shoulders to show off his broad arms and oh man DYINGGGGG.  His abs were also glistening with sweat, which made the whole thing about 100000 times sexier.  Yoochun started off with a jacket with one button done (so lots of chest and abs) at first and then UNDID IT SOMETIME DURING THE PERFORMANCE…?  I THINK.  I DON’T REMEMBER WHEN; I JUST REMEMBER THINKING WOW YOOCHUN TOO ♥______♥?!?!?!  Changmin looked insanely sexy, wearing this cardigan thing with one button done and nothing underneath.  He never did show off his nipples like the rest of his hyungs did that night lmao, but OH MY GOD HE WAS SUCH A TEASE.  Like for some of the faster moves, he would spin around and his top would mooooooove and fangirls would hold their breath, but no nipple XDD.  I know I sound like a perv.  I probably am one.  Changminnie’s younger than me too *dies*.  Junsu had this crazy shirt with all these holes in it; also a lot of skin showing XD.  And Yunho was wearing a black, very form-fitting tank top, which looked smoking on him (I wanted to sink my teeth into his arms guhhh *____*), but at the same time I was thinking THIS IS WAY TOO CONSERVATIVE.  But everyone knows about his little striptease, so that TOTALLY made up for it lol.  I think they performed ‘O.Jung.Ban.Hap’, ‘Rising Sun’, and ‘Purple Line’, all of which are among my very favorite DBSK songs, so I think I was going a bit delirious then.  ‘O.Jung.Ban.Hap’ is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING IN A LIVE PERFORMANCE.  I mean, it was lipsynched, but the dancing and the expressions (lmfao, Yunho makes hilarious expressions and I don’t think it’s on purpose; he might have to try toning those down in future XDD) and just the whole attitude of the song = amazing.  AND GIVEN WHAT THEY WERE WEARING, I WOULD PRETTY MUCH KILL TO BE ONE OF THEIR BACKDANCERS THAT GRABS THEM FROM THE BEHIND ALSJDKFLS.  I’d want to be a backdancer for either Jae or Yoochun; they make it so easy for you to molest them :DDDDD.  ‘Rising Sun’ was also super awesome; I think it was a remix version, so there’s that extended rock out part in the middle.  Yunho definitely made the most of it, rofl.  He was kneeling on one knee and placing his palm on the stage and shaking his head like he was being electrocuted.  And wow that was a description that is all sorts of wrong, but I hope you know what I mean 8D.  aljskdlfd ‘Purple Line’ was insane … YOOCHUN’S ‘I REALLY WANT TO TOUCH MYSELF’ LINE WHEN HE’S HALF NAKED CANNOT EVER BE MORE APPROPRIATE OMFGGGGGG!  Junsu, during the second stanza, really stood out as well.  Like the way he bends and twists and stuff; I’m getting ready for all the “you perv!!” comments, but … seriously, you really notice his ass.  THERE, I SAID IT.  It’s so nice and round XDD;;;;.

CSJH was the only other group to perform a song amidst the DBSK and Super Junior performances … they performed ‘Boomerang’ on the middle stage.  RIGHT NEXT TO ME :DDD.  I think this was live…?  Stephanie was closest to my side and I’m actually really surprised to hear that she was sick during the concert!  I couldn’t tell at all lol.  I thought she sang and danced very well.  Anyway they performed a remix version of ‘Boomerang’ which was really all sorts of hot.  They were wearing such short little black dresses too; endless legs!  ♥♥♥♥♥  I love them too much to actually be jealous though XD.  I JUST ADMIRE ♥.  AND WORSHIP.  SAME THING.  And I swear, if Yunho hadn’t taken off his shirt and reminded me that I’m actually straight, I’d totally be gay for Lina.  And since I’m pretty sure I can’t have either of them lmao, I wish they’d get together for real and have beautiful babies ♥.  (I hear Cassiopeia and Shapley both enjoyed the JaeNa duet!  And that ELF and Shapley enjoyed the ‘Just For One Day’ performance~!!  That’s awesome news and duh who could hate those performances; both were completely wonderful on all levels ♥.  Great to see the fanclubs supporting each other; next time, more cheering for CSJH, please~)

So after all that craziness, a promo video for SHINee’s 1st album was played (it’s the one that was leaked on youtube earlier and I was ruing over the fact that Taemin looked so sexy with his new hair but was still only 15 and thus not legal).  They came out wearing all black and white (Taemin had the hat this time alsdjfkdls ♥) and performing a new song off their album!!  Thanks for the commenters for letting me know it’s their new song, ‘You’re Like Oxygen’.  I LOVED IT when I first heard it and with a few more listens to a CD version, I think I might like it even more than their debut song…!  I love how the song builds up into the chorus; nice chord progression!  This wasn’t a live performance, I don’t think, but it will be a challenging song for them to sing live.  I know they’ll be more than capable of doing it well, though!  I just love them; their music is really a breath of fresh air from all the other stuff SM puts out (not that I don’t like those other SMP type songs, don’t get me wrong!).  The dance moves for this song are siiiiiick; I don’t know how to describe it, but that part in the chorus where they take swing out their legs and take step backwards was totally neat.  And when they walk in place and swivel their hips around = ♥♥♥♥♥.  Taemin T______T.   Ah and Key was really a tease in this performance; “really want to touch myself” indeed XDD *dies*.  THESE ARE THE AWESOMEST JAILBAIT EVER.  I cannot wait until their full album comes out; has their been a date set yet.  They went straight into a five-person rendition of ‘In My Room’ which was great~!  I have griped about them performing it only with three people (they’re a five-member group; should perform their official songs with five people…), so this was awesome to see.  Even if Jonghyun, Onew, and Key did sing most of it XDD.

There were some performances after this that I really cannot remember at all, so I’ll pick it up when SuJu started performing ‘Dancing Out’.  This was one of my favorites in the whole concert, actually :)))).  This isn’t even one of my favorite SuJu songs, but the energy of the performance was amazing and everyone was jumping up and down with their glowsticks XD.  The boys had spread out all over the stadium again and it was raining pretty heavily by now, so the stage was really quite slippery.  Yesung was right next to us and he almost slipped.  Kangin was also running near our side of the stage and kicking water at the audience; I think I would normally be incensed, but it’s Kangin and we were all wet anyway.  Hankyung and Donghae were running up and down the walkway connecting the stages, Kyuhyun and Eeteuk had their arms over each other shoulders and were jumping along (Kyu almost slipped too 8D), RYEOWOOK OWNS THIS SONG WITH HIS VOICE, etc.  At the end of the song, some of the boys went down on a platform from the middle stage.  Yesung wasn’t standing on it, so lmfao his face when he saw the other boys going down the platform was hysterical!!  It was a great “oh shit, I’m supposed to be on that thing” face.  Eventually, he had to jump down onto it 8D.  So much fail, Yesung ♥!  Heechul and Sungmin also missed it and were evidently trying to decide whether to run back toward the front stage or exit the middle stage stairs.  Heechul nearly fell over; Sungmin caught him and they went down the stairs, RIGHT IN FRONT OF US :DDDDD.  ♥♥♥.
