A-Nation ‘08, Tokyo, 8/31

(I cheated; this is a picture I took of the Ajinomoto Stadium on Friday, when we were scoping out the place lol.  Look at all those Weider in Jelly flags XD.)

WE ARE SUCH LUCKY BITCHES, LOL.  OH GOD, I LOVE JAPAN. More on that later.

I didn’t write about all the artists that performed at a-nation, just about the ones I know or the ones that were particularly impressive.  And let’s be honest, I was here for DBSK and CSJH mostly, although I really enjoyed most of the performances.  But I think this was the order of the artists performing at the concert: Namie Amuro, AAA, Miniharu GT, CSJH, My Little Lover, DBSK, alan, Ai Otsuka, Every Little Thing, Girl Next Door, Maki Goto, a secret artist (I had no idea who this group was :/ thank you kikiam, it was Do As Infinity!), Koda Kumi, TRF, and Ayumi Hamasaki.  If you want me to elaborate on an artist that I didn’t mention, let me know ^^.  I can’t help with songs, though … I wasn’t familiar with a lot of the songs sung at the concert lol.  Um and no pictures because damn, security is strict!  I managed to get my camera through when they were checking bags, but once you’re inside, there are security guards walking up and down the aisle the whole time plus a lot of people standing guard.  People who do manage to get photos from a-nation (WITHYOONHO.COM, HOW ARE YOU DOING IT???) are really brave and stealthy.  I’m none of those things, unfortunately, so no pictures :(.

Our fail!Japanese when reading our a-nation tickets made us think that the place opened at 12:30 and the concert started at 2:00.  So we got there at 12:30 on the dot and find out that a-nation goods have been selling for over two or so hours.  LOL I was so pissed when we got to the goods booth to find all the good DBSK merchandise sold out XDDD.  (I had really wanted an overpriced towel!)  Which is GREAT for the boys of course (I think they were the only artist there to sell out of everything, except the keychains because seriously who the heck would pay $13 for a keychain?!  I LOVE THEM AND I WOULD NEVER), but suckage for me.  But things happen for a reason I suppose XD.  We had to get uchiwas (it’s like this cheap fan with the boys’ picture on one side and ‘TOHOSHINKI 08′ on the back) because that was the only thing left besides the keychains.  We were waiting in line to play some kind of docomo game where you spin a wheel and get a prize and these Kuu fanboys and fangirls (they were in their late 20s, I think) were standing behind us, pretty much dying from the heat and saying, “Atsui!  Atsui!” over and over.  So I let one of them borrow my DBSK uchiwa and then we all started trying to have a conversation in our fail!Japanese.  It was pretty funny XD.  But anyway, they were REALLY NICE and when they found out we were sitting quite far away (actually not really; G-1, we were still in the arena), they told us to come sit/stand with them in their section and then helped us distract the people checking the tickets lol *____*.  THEIR SECTION ENDED UP BEING LIKE RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE EXTENDED STAGE.  Here’s the map; we got to sit in B-9 omfg.  They were so nice ♥♥♥.  They were all familiar with DBSK of course (because of their ‘Last Angel’ collab with Kuu) and asked us which member we liked the most and then seemed genuinely interested in learning the names of the DBSK boys hahahaha.  Also before the concert, we got fake ‘RC’ tattoos (for ‘Red Cliff’) and went to visit DBSK’s ‘I LOVE TAKOYAKI” booth, which was pretty cute :).  Long line in front of it too, with their ugly sign they made on that Channel-A episode.  They can sing and dance and look hot and act funny and MAKE ME SPAZZ AND DIE OVER THEM, but they can’t draw rofl.  Wanted to get some takoyaki, but the line was very long and I didn’t want to miss the opening act.

WHICH WAS NAMIE AMURO.  I can’t believe she’s gonna be 31 this year!  She looks like a teenager *_____*.  She game out in this strapless lime green dress with black hotpants and black knee-high boots.  Just fabulous; such a pretty girl ♥!!  I’m still a relatively new fan of hers so I didn’t know all of the songs she performed, but I really liked all of them.  She’s a wonderful live singer!  Powerful voice and lots of energy and omg soooooooooooo freaking cute on stage.  She opened the concert with ‘What A Feeling,’ one of my favorites from her :).  She also sang ‘Sexy Girl’, ‘Want Me, Want Me’, ‘Baby Don’t Cry’, and maybe two other songs I wasn’t familiar with (one was a ballad).  ‘Want Me, Want Me’ and ‘Baby Don’t Cry’ were my favorites.  She’s a fantastic performer, all legs and big smile and shiny long hair ♥.  During one song (I can’t remember which), she sprinted across all three stages with like the hugest smile on her face and seriously SHE IS ADORABLE.

CSJH was the fourth artist to perform … they were a “shooting act”, whatever that means.  The other performers were part of the “sunshine stage”, which was really funny at the time, but I was freaking out because one of the a-nation staff guys told me that CSJH had already performed :(.  But miscommunication, thankfully!  They appeared on the right stage, looked gorgeous as always.  Gah, I just love those girls to pieces ♥.  Sunday was wearing this pink bohemian top with shorts; Dana was dressed similarly, except in a blue bohemian top.  Lina was wearing these forest green short overalls, with one of the straps pulled down, over a white shirt that I couldn’t quite make out.  It said something like, “I’M KEEN ON [something].”  Stephanie was wearing a black vest over a white shirt and purple shorts and the cutest little black/gray booties :).  AJSLKDFJKDLS ♥♥♥♥.  They started off with ‘Here’ (the ‘Happy Birthday’ song) which is really, really awesome in a live performance.  I can’t describe it.  To be honest, I thought it was a rather plain song (although sung very well, of course) when I first heard it, but hearing it live … it’s so pretty!  The girls kept waving their arms back and forth too ♥.  I noticed that most of the people standing up during their performance were the people carrying the DBSK uchiwas :DDD.  Then they did a brief introduction, where I think all of them said something :).  Went straight into ‘Stand Up People’, which was also hugely enjoyable.  I kind of love that song now, lol.  I don’t think it was as good or powerful as ‘Piranha’, which they performed at last year’s a-nation, but they sang and danced very well and STEPHANIE’S RAP ISN’T EVEN THAT BAD LMAO.

DBSK was the 6th artist to perform and the crowd got really rowdy when they came out lol.  THEY ARE LOOKING SO FLY ♥♥♥♥♥!  I just loved what they were wearing… perfect for the weather (it was still really sunny and hot when they performed).  I still have that boys-in-vests obsession and lol I was really happy with everything I was seeing.  Jae and Junsu had the fake ‘RC’ tattoos on their biceps of win ♥.  Anyway, they started with ‘Purple Line’ first on the center stage, which sounded really good.  Yoochun’s “I really want to touch myself” line got a lot of people cheering (WHEN DOES IT NOT LOL).  And this is random, but Changmin’s diamond studs are huuuuuge.  I kept noticing them flashing like mad when he was dancing XD.   His hair is a bit longer too and not really that orangey color it was at the SMLive.  GUH, THAT BOY IS SO HANDSOME!  Then they went into crowd-favorite ‘Choosey Lover’ and that was AWESOME.  In that part where they sing, “Choose me baby, uhh~”, Junsu threw in this amazing hip thrust omfg ♥.  And then Jaejoong followed that with a body wave for the line “Sexy lady, uhh~” ♥!!  I think I’ve mentioned this before, but imo Yunho is the cutest one onstage.  I know I’m pretty biased, but like really, he’s soooooooo cute onstage OH MAN!!  I think he tries to go for charismatic expressions, but he just makes really funny faces that makes me want to squish him to pieces when I don’t feel like jumping him.  Also in this song, they ran out onto the left and right stages: Jae, Yoochun, and Yunho on the left stage; Changmin and Junsu on the right stage.  It’s really cute how they goof off during their performances, like how they try to imitate each other’s hand motions or push each other out of the way XDDD ♥.  They took a break here; Yoochun whispered something to one of the members and ran off the stage.  So they took the time to introduce themselves and ask how everyone was doing.  Junsu and Jae commented on the weather :).  And it was very obvious that they were just stalling for time and waiting for Yoochun to come back LMFAO!  Hilarious ♥.  Jae said something like, “Why is he taking so long?” and made a few jokes that I didn’t understand, but must have been pretty funny because people were laughing 8D.  Yunho tried to fill the gap by saying “TOHO!” and getting the crowd to say “SHIN KI!”  So we did that for a while and Yoochun suddenly appeared again :D.  He might have explained what he was doing, but I didn’t understand or missed it completely lol.

They went into ‘どうして君を好きになってしまったんだろう？’ … it wasn’t a perfect performance, but it’s a hard song to sing live and they still did quite well!  I thought Jaejoong was really good in the climax of the song.  And Junsu was lovely at the end.  After that, they performed ‘Shine’ which was TEH AWESOME.  Mostly because Yunho and Yoochun stood on the extended stage and I got to gawk at the two of them for quite a while :).  I think Yoochun’s cracked bowl hair cut has finally grown on me.  Really, kind of hard to care when he’s smiling and being so cute like 10 feet in front of you.  His voice sounded great in their set, too.  Well-controlled and modulated.  And Yunho, guh ♥.  HIS SMILE IS MADE OF SO MUCH WIN; WTF I LOVE THIS MAN ;____;.  HE IS SO CUTE *GUSH GUSH GUSH*.  MY CRUSH ON HIM IS GETTING OUT OF CONTROL.  LIKE I HAVE ALWAYS ADORED HIM LOTS, BUT IT HAS GROWN INTO AN ALMIGHTY INFERNO OF LOVE THIS SUMMER DDD:.  He really likes waving too lol.  So we were all waving back, even all the Kuu fanboys and fangirls ^^.  They did that neat transition to ‘Somebody To Love’, when Jaejoong and Changmin came up to the extended stage and we got to stare at them for quite some time too :).  GORGEOUS BOYS ♥.  Changmin’s voice was really, really impressive in this song, especially in his opening lines.  He’s got great control over his voice.  (And he sweats a LOT lmao.  He looked like he had climbed out a shower.)  Jaejoong is really cute and dorky onstage as well … kind of looked like he was spacing out for a moment there until Changmin one-touched him hahahahahahah :D.  ‘Somebody To Love’ is the song where they all yell, “Jump, jump, jump!” and … that’s what we did lmao.  That was a really fun performance, especially when all of them ran out to the extended stage.  JUNSUUUUUUU!  The last song they performed was ‘Summer Dream’, which was the best performance of their set imo.  Lots of energy, everyone sang well, and LMFAO THE DANCING IS SO CUTE especially when they swing their arms and take funny steps during the part where they sing “whoa, whoa, NA NA NA”.  SLDJFKLDS WTF SO CUTE.  It makes my head explode, especially when Yunho does it.  Those hips ;___;.  Changmin and Junsu threw in some fantastic adlibs in this song, kind of like how they did it at the ~T~ tour (what I saw on the DVD anyway).  Better than the CD version.  They also separated onto the left and right stages for this song; Jae and Yunho on the left, Yoochun, Junsu, and Changmin on the right.  AND YUNHO DID HIS AWESOME BACKFLIP.  I was like :DDDD when I saw it.  (And slightly O__o cause he almost looked like he wasn’t going to make the full flip.)  Jae and Junsu duet was fabulous; they shook hands and Junsu bowed really low but Jae didn’t XDDD.  And I love all the posing at the end of the song, with Junsu in the middle ♥.  QUITE SAD TO SEE THEM LEAVE THE STAGE!  On their way out, Yunho shouted, “We love you, Bigeast!” (cute, cute, and more cute ♥) and Yoochun said in his low and super sexy voice, “Take care~.”  I DON’T THINK YOOCHUN UNDERSTANDS HOW HIS LOW VOICE AFFECTS PEOPLE CAUSE OTHERWISE, HE WOULDN’T THROW IT AROUND SO CARELESSLY ALJSKDFJDSKLFJDKL OMFG ♥.

The screen then showed scenes from John Woo’s latest movie, ‘Red Cliff’.  That movie has a superb and epic theme song, sung by alan, who was the next performer to take the stage as a “shooting act”.  She came out in this gorgeous kimono, half black and half red with exquisite embroidery in the front.  And she’s a really, really, really gorgeous girl with a flipping gorgeous voice!  Her range and crystal clear voice is insanely impressive.  I am so serious, this girl is a revelation.  Her performance of that Red Cliff theme song was the best one, vocally, of the entire concert imo.  I was impressed almost to the point of tears.  I think I prefer the Chinese version of the Japanese version that she sang (I’d love if she released an original Chinese album; she has a Chinese album where she sang remakes, but that album doesn’t do justice to her talent at all), but whatever, STILL THE BEST PERFORMANCE ALL NIGHT.  For her second song, she took off her kimono to reveal a little white dress with a ruffled skirt :).  Very cute ♥.  She introduced herself and pointed at the ‘RC’ tattoo on her wrist and made some very cute stumbles over her Japanese ♥♥♥.   She sang ‘Longing Future’ after that, which was very, very pretty.  Her range in that song is whoaaaaa *___________*.   I highly recommend checking out her work (I need to do more of that myself), especially if you like music that incorporates the modern and the traditional.  She kept waving throughout her performance as well :).  Extremely talented and beautiful girl ♥.

It’s almost 4am, so I’ll write about Koda Kumi and Ayumi Hamasaki tomorrow.  Kuu sang the most songs out of any artist at the concert (omg, I just love her attitude ♥) and Ayumi had an incredible closing act fit for the queen of Avex lol.

EDIT: Okay, continuing with Kuu.  At this time, it was POURING and we could hear thunder and see lightening.  We didn’t have raincoats, so we got completely drenched lol.  I think I’m coming down with a cold, actually.  And the Kuu fanboys we were with didn’t believe in clothes at all HAHAHAHA.  When Kuu came out, they had taken off their shirts and were swinging it over their heads lmfao.  Anyway, Kuu was freaking amazing.  She’s such a fantastic performer, always has the audience in the palm of her hand ♥.  I’m a relatively new fan of hers as well (since her ‘Last Angel’ collab with DBSK), so I didn’t know all of the songs she sang, but she sang a lot!  If I’m not mistaken, she sang about 10 songs.  Maybe more.  The ones I did recognize were ‘Cutie Honey’, ‘But’, ‘FREAKY’, ‘Moon Crying’, and ‘Venus’ … which is like half the songs she did sing *fails* :(.  She came out in this skimpy and sparkly pink and silver outfit ~ bikini top and mini skirt.  She has such a good body asljdfkdls *dies*.  I didn’t recognize the first two songs she sang, but whatever song she sang first had such a hot performance guh.  She had a bunch of backup dancers during that song (and her guy backdancers weren’t wearing any shirts, just shorts and a tie XD) and was dancing with one of the guy backdancers, who was grinning and looking like the luckiest man on earth lmfao!!  You know how you touch someone on the chin and lean his head toward yours?  Kuu kept doing that to him and at the end of the song, she leaned in looking like she was going to kiss him, although the stage went dark before anyone could see anything else XDDD.  (Oh man, she seriously has the funniest fanboys.  The guys we were with were shouting, “No!! NOOOOOOOO!!!!” when she did that HAHAHAHAHAHA.)  And the second song … I didn’t know what song that was either, but it was hugely enjoyable.  MAN, THAT GIRL CAN DANCE.  And she was really getting soaked herself, but that only added to her sex appeal.  SHINY ARMS AND LEGS AND REALLY WET HAIR LOL.  I was really impressed with the only ballad song she sang, ‘Moon Crying’.  She sounded so lovely :).  She did have a part where she got to talk a little; she talks about a mile a minute, so I couldn’t make out a thing … and those fanboys we were with seemed to have a hard time following what she was saying as well lmao; they kept turning toward each other and asking, ‘Eh?  NANI?’  She is soooooooooo cute though omg.  Very energetic and bubbly and the crowd seemed to really love her.  I think my favorite part of her set was her dance battle … her backdancers all did their solo acts while Kuu pulled a silver and black tracksuit on and put on a pink hat XD.  I know I’m repeating myself, but she really is a stellar dancer.  Except the cartwheels.  She doesn’t cartwheel too well, but lol I liked how she would cartwheel into the splits!  And she knows how to work the crowd!!  She kept blowing kisses and making sexy expressions at the camera.  And licking her lips over and over again, which just about killed the fanboys with us LMFAO.  Oh man, what an experience.  After that exciting dance battle, she went into ‘Freaky’, which is probably my favorite song from her.  IT WAS AWESOME.  And there was fire shooting out from the stage and we were sitting so close that we could feel it; it was nice though, I was soaked and freezing at that point XD.  Also really enjoyed ‘But’ (this is another one of my favorites off her Kingdom album) … she was running around the left and right stages in this one and playing it up for the cameras 8D.  For her last song, she was throwing out balls into the audience.  I think this is where you can see a difference between concerts in Korea and Japan lmao.  At a-nation, people would try to grab the balls she was throwing, but if they couldn’t get it, they wouldn’t run and chase it down.  Like those Kuu fanboys we were with … a ball bounced out of their hands and rolled into the aisle, easily in reach, but they were just like ‘whatever’ and turned their attention back to Kuu XD.  But anyway, yeah, Kuu was wonderful… had the most energetic and fun set of the night, imo!  I want to see her in a full concert one day.

Finally, Ayumi Hamasaki … so is it really obvious that I’m a jpop noob since I’ve probably heard a grand total of three songs from her?  XD  She sang about 6 songs; I only recognized the first one, which was ‘Mirrocle World’.  Great song!  She came out in a pretty red dress with her hair up and rocked it, imo.  She was also the only artist that got raised up on a platform, hahaha.  She changed into a silver, tummy-bearing outfit for the second song, a rock number.  I don’t know the name of that song, but what a performance!  I liked how her outfit and set was somehow matching the weather, lmao.  She looked so sexy, kneeling on the stage and singing in the rain and whipping her hair around ♥.  She had another outfit change after that, into a pretty orange, tropical-looking (wtf I don’t know how else to describe this) bikini top and floor-length skirt.  That one really got the fans going lol.  I think she probably had the most fans in the stadium, percentage wise.  And not just guys … loooooots of female Ayumi fans, a lot of whom had made themselves up to look just like her XDDD.  Saw a lot of ‘Team MessAge’ t-shirts, bags, and towels supporitng Ayumi, who apparently is celebrating her 10th anniversary in jpop!  ♥  For her last song, she came out in yet another outfit (Team MessAge t-shirt and shorts ^^) and climbed onto this moving platform that went around the whole stadium.  So cute how one of her backup dancers kept an arm around her waist to make sure she wouldn’t fall ♥ :).  When the platform got back to the front of the stage, she was actually walking amongst the audience for a bit and this was the first real rush of fans toward the stage.  I was pretty amazed, to be honest.  Japanese fans are always so calm during concert performances.

Incredible concert; I enjoyed it loads and I bet I would have enjoyed it even more if I were familiar with some of the artists before hand.  But great music all around and so much fun to attend.  BE SURE TO CHECK OUT ALAN.  I SWEAR THAT GIRL WILL GO FAR.  HER VOICE IS UNREAL ♥♥♥♥♥.  And thank you to the amazing Kuu fans who let us sit with them ♥.  And especially to one of them who somehow managed to get me a DBSK towel at the end … I have no idea how he managed to do that, but it’s very much appreciated!  ♥!!

SHINee Karaoke-ing

Stalking misterkrabspatties on youtube again lol ~ these are behind-the-scenes clips from Episode 5 of their reality show.  (WHICH WAS TOTALLY HILARIOUS AND YOU NEED TO WATCH IF YOU HAVEN’T YET!)  Full clips of them karaoke-ing.  Man, they’re flipping adorable ♥!

♥ Hug + So Hot.  HUGGGG ♥.  One of my favorite DBSK songs and JongKey are adorable singing it.  Especially when they’re pawing at each other lmao.  I don’t know how they have so much energy!  Even Onew, who I think is usually pretty hyper and loltastic and failtastic and everything in between, is passed out facedown on the couch.  Jongkey prod him awake at 2:12 and there’s a piece of paper stuck to Onew’s face LMFAO!  ‘So Hot’ is also really funny with the moraccas … they don’t sing it too well either XD.  LOL.

♥ Noona Is So Pretty + Girls Generation.  My favorite part of ‘Noona Is So Pretty” is when Onew sings, “Ara~!” at the end of the second stanza and he … switches to his really low voice in that part lol.  Awww man, I just love that kiddo ♥.  Jonghyun trying to do Taemin’s solo dance and microphone pass to Key was hilarious as well XDDDD.  And I already alsjdfklds-ed over how much I liked them singing ‘Girls Generation’, but LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.  I liked when Jonghyun, Key, and Onew line up and sing the bridge roflmao.  Cute ♥♥♥.  And Minho standing up to do the dance was awesome :).

We went to Tokyo Tower today!  That was kind of a waste of money, but it’s a landmark and “recommended” by our guidebook, so whatever XD.  And it was not without its loltastic moments.  Someone suggested taking the stairs up; that was shot down with a “YOU CRAZY?!  YOU WANNA DIE?!?!?!!!”  So we took the elevator … one of my friends is like deathly afraid of heights and was clawing on the walls of the elevator on the way up while the other tourists looked at us like, “YOU CRAZY AMERICANS.”  LMAO.  The view from the top is spectacular… just not worth $14 lol.  WE MUST CRIMP AND SAVE NOW; MONIES ARE DANGEROUSLY LOW :(((.

THEN TO EBISU, SHIBUYA, AND HARAJUKU.  OMG.  My favorite j-drama is ‘Hana Yori Dango’ so I really wanted to find Ebisu Garden Place, where Tsukasa was waiting for Makino in the rain lmao.  And we found it!  I am terrible with directions and maps (let’s just say you wouldn’t want me as your ‘Amazing Race’ partner lulz), but even I thought it was quite easy to find.  It’s such a pretty place.  Romantic alsjdkfljsdkl ♥.   Um and we’re retarded so we were reenacting the scenes from ‘Hana Yori Dango’ lmao.  Couldn’t resist… it was actually raining too XD!  Shibuya was great!  It was soooo incredibly busy … once we got off the JR Shibuya station, we were greeted by vast streets crammed with people, tall buildings, and big screens.  And a huge (and totally gorgeous) poster for Namie Amuro’s ‘Best Fiction’ best-of album ♥.   Found the NHK Broadcasting Center and went on a studio tour, which was completely in Japanese and so we were pretty lost the whole time, but it was neat :).   Also walked through HMV and Tsutaya and Tower Records, just to see how ridiculous the prices were XD.  Ah!  We also went to Shibuya 109, this … fashion tower lol.  These people in the front gave us free drinks for saying “FAITO-OH!” idek.  And when we went in, the TV screen in the lobby was playing DBSK’s ‘どうして君を好きになってしまったんだろう？’ MV, which was a nice surprise!  Cause we were trying to figure out where the heck we were going and I turned around and CHANGMIN ON A TV SCREEN!!  Yep.  Everyone was sooooooo freaking trendy and fashionable there – accessories, leggings, scarves, hats, BOOTS (who wears boots in the summer?!), pretty dyed hair, EVERYTHING UP THE WAZOO; I almost regretted walking in XDD;;.  I’m a jeans/t-shirt girl and I don’t wear makeup and I wear my hair in the same half ponytail I have worn it in since I was like 12 (LMFAO), so guhhhhhh I was feeling so inadequate.  Even the guys were making us look bad, with their trendy sunglasses and huge manpurses (these make me giggle, tbh) and piercings and alskjdfkdsjkl :(((.  AND THEN WAIT TILL WE GOT TO HARAJUKU OMFG.  I think the average age of shoppers there is like … 18.  I FELT SO OLD, LOL.  But really, we saw so many amazing things there; I was actually getting pretty dizzy from it all.  It is kinetic and frenetic.  I think we eventually ended up sitting down for like an hour and just people-watching.  WOW at some of the outfits we saw … lots of lolita goth outfits and crazy hair of all different colors and makeup that must have taken ages to put on and accessories up the wazoo and quite a bit of cosplaying :D.  So yeah, we did quite a bit of staring and I did about a thousand double triple takes lol.  Um, I think we’re going to go back there on Monday with costumes, because REALLY WHEN AND WHERE WILL I BE ABLE TO WALK AROUND LOOKING LIKE THAT IN HAWAII HAHAHAHAHAHA.  People don’t even get that excited for Halloween in Hawaii!

And … A-NATION TICKETS.  I HAS THEM :DD!  I was ripped off (like really ripped off) and I don’t think our seats are all that great, but just as xtreelovex said, I’ll probably never be able to go to one of these things again, so decided to suck it up and just buy the damn tickets.  We will be living off ramen for the next three days we’re in Japan lmao :(.  NO MONIES.  I’m really very excited though ♥!

Hyori’s got a new MV out for “Hey Mr. Big” off her recent album.  I don’t like this song quite as much as “U-Go-Girl” but it’s still pretty catchy and I am loving the music video!  LIKE I LOVE HER OUTFITS AND HER HAIR AND … HER.  alsdjfklds girlcrush forevs.  I especially like that army uniform and what she was wearing when she was lying on the clock face ♥!  And doesn’t she really know how to accessorize?  ♥!  I love her necklaces and earrings and rings and bracelets and … HER :DDDD.

I totally forgot A-Nation concerts are this weekend…!  Going to try to get tickets to the 8/31 one (because then CSJH will be there too ^^), depending on if they’re available or if we actually have time on the 31st or … money XD.  Japan is great, but alskdjfkdls everything is so expensive.  I’m having a hard time buying stuff cause I just think about how much cheaper it was in Korea lmao.  Like we went into a record store today and looked for DBSK’s stuff (all of which is in a separate Korean section, tucked neatly in the corner :/) and pretty much everything is twice as expensive as it was sold for in Korea lollll.  AND LET’S NOT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON A SLICE OF WATERMELON COSTING $10.  WHAT.  I ALMOST BURST INTO TEARS LMAO (I was really hungry!).  We visited Akihabara today, where I was pretty much foaming at the mouth at all the electronics and gadgets and phones and computers; the new line of Sony Vaio’s look really nice!   (Other than music and pretty boy merchandise, I spend the majority of my money on these sort of electronics lmao.)  Also went to sightsee and shop in Shinjuku and Ueno.  So crazy :D.   Apparently, places you can play pachinko and other games are really popular!  We went inside one just for shits and giggles and the place was packed with mostly businessmen.  I dunno, I thought it was pretty funny XD.  And we also went sake bombing, which was lots of fun and also pretty embarrassing for me.  Not only am I a lightweight, I turn really, really, REALLY red :(((((((.

It could mean that whether we are here in North America, and they’re all the way in Asia or any part of the world, the love they send to their fans and the love, we, the fans, send to them will always be in “five by five” condition. Meaning, our love and support for DBSK (and the love they show us) will always be perfectly strong and clear no matter the circumstances, and that we will always have a perfect mutual connection with them no matter where they are.

Leo is considered to be a masculine sign, and yes, all our DBSK members are indeed men with more than great physical attributes. And seeing as Leo is a positive sign, then it can show that DBSK will always have positive future and an ever increasing love from us fans. Leo i ruled by the sun, an where does the sun rise? The East. (I think you guys get what I’m trying to say about the east and sun deal, DBSK being the rising gods of the east and all). And since it is a fire sign, fire is usually associated with the colour red – DBSK’s official fan colour.

Advantage – people can play around with this name more… meaning add meanings to each letter like, “Legendary Eastern Order” or “Leading Eastern Order” or something like that to symbolize that DBSK is… well, what the name implies.(okay that was a lame attempt for giving it meaning, but it was good for a 30 second thing). Oe pople can add a word before or after “LEO”

They’re the sun and we’re the moon. In Roman Mythology its Luna. You can see the moon in day light but it’s still there. The meaning of it for us North American Fans is that even though we’re of different cultures and will appear when they’re asleep, we’re still there shining and watching over them.

SHINee Reality Show Ep 3-5

My friends just went to party (= get completely wasted) in Shibuya and I’m way too tired to go (= am a lightweight + am somehow jet-lagged from a 2.5 hour flight lmao), so here’s me trying to catch up on SHINee’s reality show :).  I’m sure everyone has seen these all by now, but I can’t go to bed yet and I need to be lasjdkflds-ing over something in case one of my friends calls me to brag about Shibuya, lol.

EDIT: This is stupid and random, BUT THE GUY WORKING AT THE FRONT DESK OF OUR HOTEL LOOKS LIKE A JAPANESE WANG LEE HOM.  Or some kind of cross between Lee Hom and Takeshi Kaneshiro.  Omg he’s so cute ♥.

♥ Episode 3: one, two, three.  OH GOD THIS EPISODE WAS SO FREAKING FUNNY.  The noona is so likeable and the boys are so funny around her.  Continues for the last episode, so it’s Key’s turn to date the noona.  They take turns describing things in English and spelling them out … I didn’t know Key spoke English that well ♥!  He was great.  LOL the noona was all embarrassed cause he was better at English than she was XD.  Actually his whole date went really well imo.  The show must be scripted to let everyone have a chance to date the noona, because I think Key would win all of them otherwise, lmao.  Or Jonghyun … man, you’d never know this was the same kid that was soooooooo embarrassed around the first noona!  Even before she picked him, he was holding her hand and leading her everywhere and making Taemin carry her bag, roflmao.  Then she picked him (although she said she wanted to pick all five ♥) and they were sooooo cute together.  I’m not going to lie; I’d love if they got together in real life.  SERIOUS.  They seemed so normal around each other alsjdkfldjskl.  Love the couple bunny ears, the feeding each other icecream, them riding the camel together, and THE WAY SHE WAS CLUTCHING ONTO HIM WHILE THEY WERE GOING DOWN THAT RAGING RIVER ♥♥♥.  Meanwhile, the scenes of the other four members doing stuff were so funny.  Especially when they were all watching the show and Key was like, “They came in holding hands and we were wearing raincoats getting hit by water…”  And Taemin saying he wasn’t jealous by acted like he was just to be spiteful.  And the sundubu leader just being all wistful LOLOLOLOLOLOL.  Such a great episode; must have been pretty painful for the Jonghyun fangirls though XDD;;.

♥ Episode 4: one, two, three.  JSDKlFJKDSL JUST KEEPS GETTING FUNNIER!  The noona in this episode is super cool as well; I love her ♥.   When she first meets them, she acts like a drill instrucor and makes them do squats and lift the banana boat and other stuff lol.  I swear, Key just has the funniest ways of putting things XD.  He says, “She can’t be the noona.  I was like, how can we date this person?”  And I just love the way the noona raves about Taemin, lololololol.  When he dances for her, she says, “His eyes were big!  I thought it would be good if I had a son like that.”  LOLLERCOASTER!!!  And then when they’re riding that flying boat together, she says that his eye laugh is so cute.  LSJDFKLDS I WOULD TOTALLY SAY THE SAME THINGS ABOUT HIM LMAO.  He’s so adorable in this *_____*.  Also, I totally empathize with the noona; I loved when she said, “I’m being weird as a noona.”  Onew and Key are absolutely hysterical in this segment as well … first they were saying about Jonghyun, “I almost fell for Jonghyun the first time” (wtf XD?) and “Jonghyun is romantic~.”  And then them imitating Jonghyun an the noona on the flying boat thing was hilarious!!  But lol I don’t understand why Key and Onew had to go on a date with the noona together … I mean, CLEARLY Key is gonna make Onew look bad.  LMAO.   Key tells the noona that she is his ideal woman and Onew is all, “All right, I’ll just die right here.”  LOL.  Sundubu leader ♥♥♥♥♥.  Awww, I would date Onew :).  IN A HEARTBEAT, OKAY.  Then she makes them play tug-of-war and has the losers bungee jump.  Bungee-jumping is totally a rite of passage for kpop artists lmao.  I think most of SuJu have done it (YES, EVEN HEECHUL).  And F.T Island too.  DBSK SHOULD DO THIS PRONTO.  Minho and Taemin jump without any reservations; Key takes a lot of coaxing and covers his face on the way down lololololol.  SO CUTE ♥.  Then the noona takes them all to a deserted island, chooses Taemin, and leaves the rest of them there, lol.  Taemin’s freaking adorable when he gets chosen; he says, “It would be embarrassing if I didn’t get picked.”  HOW DO YOU THINK ONEW AND MINHO FEEL LOLOLOLOL.

♥ Episode 5: one, two, three.  This is my favorite episode so far, although all of them have been pretty great.  I dunno, the losers are especially funny in this one XD.  Taemin asks them for advice and JongKey give him conflicting advice, while Taemin just sits there and looks like a nervous wreck, lol.  Then his hyungs actually follow Taemin on his date HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.  (The noona looked so pretty~!  I loved what she was wearing.)  I think Key is so adorably MOTHERLY here.  He keeps saying, “Oh what do I do … Taeminnie~~” and “I can’t watch this anymore~” and then to Taemin, “I’ll scold you at home~” lol.  The noona buys some crepes for Taemin and says in her side interview, “With a cute boy next to me, I want to buy him things.”  U-GO-GIRL LOL.  Um, also Onew keeps having these random outbursts that no one really gets or laughs at … so this is what they call the Onew condition XDD.  Taemin takes the noona to play with dogs rofl.  Key and Jonghyun try to interrupt; Taemin doesn’t care … he seems more interested in the dogs than the noona and the noona is all, “I mean, I understand.  He’s at an age where he’s more interested in dogs than girls.”  XD;;.

5:25 into part 2 is SO FREAKING FUNNY.  Key imitates Taemin in their earlier interviews and I laughed so hard when Onew, pretending to be an interviewer, asks him if he likes his hyungs and Key answers, “Uhhh… I like to dance a lot.  I started dancing when I was in the 3rd year of elementary school.”  OH MY GOD ♥♥♥♥♥.  Key’s hilarious XD.  Jonghyun and Onew are dying in the background hahaha.  AND 1:48 INTO PART 3 LMFAOOOOO.  So this is what they’re like in a karaoke room.  I was lol-ing to death when they were doing Wonder Girls’ ‘So Hot’ with the moraccas and then when they did that jump in ‘Girls Generation’ (JONGHYUN XDDDDD).  And does the way Onew is singing the chorus make anyone else die?  Like the way he’s holding his hands and everything LOLOLOLOL.  Also loved when Minho finally stood up to do the dance ♥!!

Back to Taemin’s date, I thought it was so cute how they chose couple t-shirts (and how Taemin got his way just by being cute ^_____^) and then danced together :).  It was also really sweet when she gave him that glove she’s worn since she started dancing and said that it’s okay to give away something so important to her because the memory of meeting Taemin was even more important.  AWWWWWWWW ♥♥♥!  I love this noona!  Then she said, “I’m only going to meet younger guys now.”  U-GO-GIRL!!!  No, seriously, Taemin’s date was so cute and awesome!

Oooh, so what do you guys think of their new album, btw?  I’m loving a lot of the new tracks, especially The SHINee World, and the boys sound really great in all the songs, but … somehow I wish the album was more in the vein of ‘Noona Is So Pretty’.  And that there were more upbeat songs lol.  Still, it’s quite an impressive debut.  I LOVE JONGHYUN’S SOLO SO HARD.  It sounds epic and painful and alsjdfksjk wonderful.  Also very fond of ‘너 아니면 안되는 걸 (Romantic)’~!  I hope their album promotions go very well.  SHINee hwaiting ♥!

And since we’re on the topic of SHINee, want to hear my failboat story of the day?  Remember all those Taemin cards I have?  For some unknown reason, I stuck them into my passport.  (In my defense, though, I carry my passport everywhere I go when I’m traveling and I must have just stuck those Taemin cards in that same zippered pocket.  Okay, really, there is no defense *dies*.)  So I was going through the immigration checkpoint at Incheon Airport and the guy opened up my passport and THOSE TAEMIN CARDS FELT OUT, OH MY GOD.  It was pretty mortifying, especially when he handed them back to me and said, “I think… these are yours?” and then looked like he didn’t want to let me through immigration.  WHAAAAAT.  THIS IS YOUR FAULT, KOREA.
