Pimp Post: SS501, Part 2

Onto more videos! If it’s not already clear from the last post lol, I absolutely love these boys and could watch them all day :). They are VERY fun to watch on shows. They each have something about their personality that’s really appealing, imo. As for a favorite member, this is really difficult 8D …. I think my favorite member is JungMin, mostly because he’s batshit crazy and SMILES LIKE THE SUN, but I will also fangirl over HyunJoong’s deadpan wit, KyuJong’s sweetness (he’s like the nicest guy ever; reminds me a lot of Siwon, actually), YoungSaeng’s shyness, HyungJoon’s cuteness (my friend calls him Baby Korean Jesus, lol), etc etc. It’s hard not to love them all. I mean, they’re all so inherently likable. Or something. ♥!

Okay, I will admit that one of the biggest reason I wanted to write this pimp post was so I could spazzspazzspazz over their KM Idol World episodes 8DD! I capped the first two episodes, but never got around to doing the rest :(. So let’s start with that one first:

1. KM IDOL WORLD. THIS IS TEH AMAZING. I’ve seen every single episode of this show (Big Bang, SuJu T, CSJH, and SS501) and they were all so entertaining! I wonder why it was canceled ;______; ~ I know I would have liked to see other artists on this show. Like the rest of SuJu. And F.T Island. And even DBSK, if they weren’t so busy with their Japan activities. But anyway, yeah … I think even if you weren’t a fan of these artists, you would be by the end of their KM Idol World episodes ^_____^. SS501 filmed 7 episodes for this show while they were in Japan, so it’s extra funny seeing them do missions XDDD. I think they had only been in Japan for a short time so, for the most part, their language skills are understandably not up to par (although JungMin and KyuJong spoke quite well, imo). Give it a try … I’m pretty sure you’ll be a fan by the end :D. They’re such endearingly honest and dorky boys. Great personalities ♥. Thanks so much to GOE;SS and yonnie @ youtube for subbing!

•   Continuation of HyungJoon’s birthday prank :D! Awww. But it’s so cute when the prank is revealed because KyuJong and JM grab and hug him like mad and HyungJoon just starts crying some more ♥. And they all try to make him stop crying ~ very sweet.
•   Then they continue with their mission, which is to somehow find their way to Hakone Yumoto. Since they lost last time, the JM-HyungJoon (Min-Jun) team get a really simple (bad) map. And the HyunJoong-KJ-YS (Blue Dragon) team get a map written in Hanja and lots of money! KJ is all “IT’S NOT EVEN ON THE MAP DDDDD:.” Meanwhile, JM continues to interfere with the Blue Dragon team’s efforts to ask for directions, saying that the team is dangerous and bad and shouldn’t be helped, rofl.
•    Other highlights include the Min-Jun team not having enough money to buy bread and therefore standing in front of a bakery and “eating with their eyes” LOL, the Blue Dragon team spending lots and lots of money freely, JM arm-wrestling with a 12-year-old, JM freaking out and running on and off trains cause he doesn’t know which is the right one, the Blue Dragon team getting tickets for a “romance car” just so they can sit down comfortably and eat on the train, Min-Jun bickering through the entirrrrrrrrre train ride, cheerleaders sitting next to Min-Jun on the train, JM LEAVING A SLEEPING BABY HYUNGJOON ON THE TRAIN XDDDDDDDD, and more!

♥ Episode 4: part 1, part 2, part 3.
•    This is such a golden episode ~ continues where episode 3 left off and JM’s running through the train station trying to lose HyungJoon, rofl. But JM eventually shows up again, telling Baby he missed him. LIAR XD. Then the Min-Jun team lose their tickets and freak out while KyuJong leisurely walks past them LOLOLOL! Both teams do another mission where they have to get female students to buy them a drink from a vending machine; the Blue Dragon team does an impromptu concert and the Min-Jun team is lucky enough to get a girl (who turns out to be a huge fan of theirs ~ good taste!) to feed them their drinks lmaoooooo. When they actually get to their destination, it’s suuuuuper windy: HyunJoong gets pushed around, JungMin has fun with his umbrella, HyungJoon gets really close to the edge of a cliff, HyunJoong and KyuJong reenact a scene from 1999 concert when a Korean fan hugged Michael Jackson onstage, YoungSaeng’s hair goes wild, and just … roflmao.
•    GUHGUHGUH OKAY THE NEXT PART REALLY IS A MUST-WATCH. It’s the boys running (and screaming) through a cemetery at night. The Min-Jun team is just so … omgosh FAIL. LOLOLOL. I swear that JungMin has the highest scream for a guy I’ve ever heard. Which is extra funny since his voice is so low and deep in their songs XDD *dies*. Anyway, he screams “AHHHHHH!!!” and “AUGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!” at practically everything that moves. It takes him about 10 minutes to complete the task. His teammate, HyungJoon, takes … like 25 minutes to make it through the cemetery rofl. He’s so scared throughout the whole thing, though, poor kid! In stark contrast, Leader HyunJoong is fearless and completes his mission in 4 minutes. He’s hilarious. Things would jump out at him and he’d snicker and imitate the sounds the “ghosts” would make HAHAHAHA. YoungSaeng also makes his way through the cemetery and takes about 12 minutes, I think. But if you average the times, the Min-Jun team took 15:56 minutes and the Blue Dragon team only 6:26 to get through the cemetery, so the Blue Dragon team are rewarded with the good roles in their drama!

♥ Episode 5: part 1, part 2, part 3.
•    As a reward for winning the whole mission, the Blue Dragon team gets to go to the hot springs where HyunJoong announces that they’re not wearing any underwear under their robes XDDDDDD *dies*. And then sexy music starts playing and … you just use your imagination 8D. They hold their breaths underwater and whoever holds it the longest gets to assign roles to the members for their drama (KyuJong cheats and is generally adorable ♥). Meanwhile, JM and HyungJoon, who lost, just sit around and bicker some more and act out scenes from shows. LOL. I think they do something from Coffee Prince and slap each other around a lot. One of the captions is “They’ve seen a lot of shows…” Indeed XD. They play this game where they have to pull off the other’s socks while blindfolded … whoever loses gets the worst role.
•    Their drama has an interesting and supernatural concept ~ basically YoungSaeng (yay, I’m glad he got the main role since he’s always so quiet in everything else :*) gets a chance to go back in time and save his friends (KyuJong and HyunJoong) from things like car accidents, robbery, but each time he saves them from one situation, the next situation is even more disastrous and claims even more people. Wow, I just read that and it’s a really bad summary, but I highly recommend watching it! It was very enjoyable. Not as cracktastic as SuJu T’s ‘Goong T’ parody, but … it was a really touching mini-drama in a lot of ways. Well-written. The crack comes in the form of JungMin who plays a robber with a hilariously bad wig and bad glasses and a high-pitched scream. LOL.

♥ Episode 6: part 1, part 2, part 3.
•   After finishing up the rest of their drama in this episode, the boys show you their apartment. JungMin, unsurprisingly if you’ve seen their Thanks For Waking Me Up series, has his own room, while HyunJoong/KJ and HyungJoon/YS in the other rooms. They make fun of what HyungJoon is watching on his computer … which actually turns out to be an Usher music video 8D. ROFL. Lots of jokes about how HyungJoon is finally an adult! Oh and there’s more Min-Jun bickering 8D. And then some behind-the-scenes stuff from their drama, including JungMin breaking his glasses on purpose, HyungJoon flubbing his lines over and over again, YoungSaeng cracking up at JM’s face (man, I do NOT blame him XD), KyuJong getting uncomfortable about saying his lines, and leadersshi having trouble with eye drops in his crying scene.

♥ Episode 7 (Goodbye Special): part 1, part 2, part 3.
•   This is the last episode ever of KM Idol World *tear* and they do a thing where the netizens got to choose 5 best moments from the show, which were: CSJH’s Hello Summer (#5), Big Bang’s blind date (#4), SS501’s Japan street mission (#3), CSJH’s Sunday mission when she touched DBSK and SuJu for points 8D (#2), and EUNHYUK’S PRANK FROM THE SUJU-T IDOL WORLD EPISODES AT #1. Of course ♥. Eunhyuk has a lot of great moments on camera since he’s such a sweetheart, but this one has to be at the top.  AND AND AND there are more behind-the-scenes footage from SS501’s KM Idol World episodes. As in EVEN MORE MIN-JUN BICKERING. Those two are hilariously abusive toward each other XD.

2. THANKS FOR WAKING ME UP. XDDDDDDDD. THIS IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Also another wonderful show to start out with if you’re new to the boys; this was the first show I ever saw them in and … IT WAS SO ADORABLE. Each episode is basically Park Kyung Lim (hilarious lady; I love her) trying to wake the boys up in the morning. I know that doesn’t sound terribly exciting, but it’s hilarious. They’re adorable when they wake up with their red eyes and ruffled hair and hoarse voices. Also, JungMin sleeps with a panda eye mask and attacks people who try to wake him up. Probably why he doesn’t share a room with any of the other boys XDD. Oh and Leader can sleep through the sound of mosquitos buzzing in his ear, ice cold spoons on his eyes, everyone applying lipstick and foundation and mascara to his face, and more. Intrigued? ♥ Episode 1: veoh, youtube (part 1, part 2, part 3). I honestly was just surfing youtube for SS501 clips and came across this show and I was hooked about 5 minutes into the first episode 8D. They are so, so, sooooo adorable, all splayed out on their beds and floors and just … rofl. Even their manager oversleeps, ahhahaa! Cute :D. KyuJong is always so diligent and responsible and good at waking up first, lol. JungMin is violent and hilarious. He pulls out HyungJoon’s hair when Baby tries to wake him up and then everyone is really scared of him for the rest of the show. LOL. (But tell me how you could resist THIS?!) YoungSaeng is adorably shy all the time ♥. They attempt to wake leader up by putting makeup on him and icecubes down his back and even letting miniature dogs run on him, rofl. THEY ALSO DANCE TO SNOW PRINCE IN THEIR PAJAMAS SJDFKLEJFKLDJSFKLDJ :DDD!

♥ Episode 2: veoh, youtube (part 1, part 2, part 3). KyuJong wakes up before the manager again. LOL :D! And HyungJoon is the most adorable thing on the planet when he wakes up, since his hair is so messy and he keeps flipping around trying to avoid noise. His voice is really deep and sexy too ♥. KJ and HyungJoon put on helmets and enter JM’s room, where he’s sleeping in a striped T-shirt and with a panda mask (PKL is like “IT’S AN ANIMAL KINGDOM!”) and still very violent, rofl. He swings his arms around and then throws a pillow, but still … he’s irresistible sjkdfljdklsfd. That panda mask kills. And the pout ♥_____♥. Then they all go to wake up YoungSaeng and Leader by putting more makeup on their faces :DD.

♥ Episode 3: veoh, youtube (part 1, part 2, part 3). This was probably my favorite episode sjdfkdjklfjls. It’s no wonder they have such a hard time getting up in the morning! They like to party through the night ahaha. I don’t even know! Jungmin and HyungJoon bicker over a towel, Jungmin watches videos of himself and says he is “charisma,” they have fun and more fun with the motion-sensor cameras in their rooms, KYUJONG IS SO CUTE WITH HIS BEAR, they’re sing and play guitar at 4 in the morning, HyungJoon is still stuffing his face with chips, and … so much more. ROFL. When PKL comes along in the morning to wake them up, they really can’t get up on time so she analyzes their sleeping poses. I just about died at HyungJoon sleeping with half-opened eyes. LOLOLOLOL! I wonder if I do that XD.

♥ Episode 4: veoh, youtube (part 1, part 2). Continuation from the last episode ~ KyuJong is, of course, up first, so he helps PKL wake them up. They actually bring in two muscle men to carry all the boys into the living room HAHAHA. PKL has to warn them multiple times about violent!Jungmin, who actually does take a few swipes at them, lol! AND HYUNJOONG DOESN’T SLEEP WITH A SHIRT, Y’ALL. I KNOW YOU WANT TO SEE THAT. Finally, they show all of them (except KyuJong) lying in the middle of the living room and looking totally confused. ROFL. They’re all so normal that it’s so refreshing ♥. I love these boys.

♥ Episode 5: veoh, youtube (part 1, part 2, part 3). And now for a change! Leadersshi wakes up early to make breakfast for the other members, but not before he complains that he never gets enough screentime on the show. WHICH IS WHY YOU NEED TO WAKE UP EARLIER, LOL ♥. He takes advantage of the fact that he’s the only one up to badmouth all the other members in their sleep XDDD. Leader is ADORABLE in the kitchen. He keeps saying all these nonsense things all matter-of-factly and putting all sorts of weird things into the ddukboggi. And it’s adorable when he goes around to wake up the members. He runs into a lot of trouble when he tries to wake JungMin up, since JM swings at him and then bites his arm (lol @ “bitten by the horse!!”). But apparently, the way to really wake Jungmin up and NOT get attacked is to stick a carrot into his mouth. Oh, horse ♥.

♥ Episode 6: veoh. Another one of my favorites; the boys stay in a cabin by the beach (interesting, it’s “Donghae beach” ~ I know I’m not the only one who finds this amusing) this time to see the sunrise in the morning and …. more crack ensues. JungMin, who has had his own room up till now, says he’s willing to share a room this time and promises he’ll be like an angel, except no one believes him or wants to share a room with him. KyuJong even says, “Have you seen the other episodes?!?!” XDD! They also film a fake MV on the beach … director!JungMin keeps interrupting everyone with, “Cut! Cut! That was no good!” Poor KyuJong, lol. But he plays the good guy that gets the girl! And YoungSaeng cross-dresses, which never gets old XD! The next morning, PKL strikes a freaking GONG to wake them up, which STILL fails. Only KyuJong gets up, so he gets spared the usual makeup humiliation. Funniest part for me was when KyuJong pinned JM’s arms down to let PKL put on the makeup, but JM pulled his eye mask off and PKL’s all “WHAT DO WE DO?! WE’RE DEAD!!” (But as usual, how could you resist that face ♥?) PKL freaks out cause she’s holding all the makeup in her hands while KyuJong shows that his hands are empty XDD! More pictures of the boys in makeup: HyungJoon, YoungSaeng, HyunJoong *dies, they gave him a unibrow*.

♥ Episode 7: veoh. LOL this episode is priceless. The boys pay PKL a visit and try to wake her up. Very cute and funny. JungMin is really surprised and shocked when she flips around and nearly grabs him. Clearly, he doesn’t watch the other episodes since he still seems unaware that he does the exact same thing to someone trying to wake him up, except he manages to grab the person most of the time rofl. They put makeup and moles on her and after she gets up and sees what they’ve done to her, she threatens them HAHAHAHA! I love her. She’s all, “I’m going to watch the playback and see what each of you guys did … I won’t let you guys go to functions … I’ll ruin your future.” HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

3. Thanks For Raising Me Up. I’ve watched this entire show on youtube before, but I can’t find all the episodes anymore :(. But I’ll edit this if it ever gets re-uploaded! This show was filmed after Thanks For Waking Me Up and it is basically the boys taking care of a dog for 6 episodes. Yeah, I know that doesn’t sound too thrilling either, but I assure you it was a very sweet show. KyuJong is afraid of dogs in the first episode, but by the last one, it seemed like he was the most comfortable with their dog :*. So cute.

4. SOS – Hyunderella Skit. I’ve never seen all the episodes from their show SOS, but I’ve seen this skit a billion times and it really never gets old. They are crazy XDD! Lots of karaoke-ing and general chaos in the beginning. They are really good role models for the kid they’re with, though. I say that without any sarcasm. Really! They’re such sweethearts. They put on a skit for him, where there is more cross-dressing and general hilarity. HyunJoong is Cinderella, YoungSaeng is the evil step-mother, JungMin is the sassy step-sister (he hits his head on the screen, lmao), KyuJong is the magician, and HyungJoon is the prince. RIIIIIIIIIDICULOUSLY FUNNY, especially when they start dancing to Beyonce and Justin Timberlake. All the pairings at the end are messed up as well, since Cinderella ends up with the magician and the Prince ends up with the evil stepsister. LOL!

5. Xman Episodes. There used to be a few youtube users with a lot of full Xman episodes on their accounts, but I can’t find them anymore :(. So just cuts I really like.
♥ HyungJoon aegyo. From a really awesome episode of Xman with special guest Michelle Wie (the golf prodigy). I wish I could find the whole episode (because it was just a fantastic episode overall; leader HyunJoong is also in it, along with Choi Siwon (♥!) and Lee Seung Gi), but I can’t so here’s a really cute cut. She asks him act cute for her and he does and I died.
♥ HyunJoong v. Chae Yeon dangyunhaji. He’s good at this game ♥. And I also picked this cut because you can see Heechul in the background, behind Chae Yeon. LOL, I’m sorry, but Heechul makes everything awesome XDD. Lots of mention of the YEH-KJK pairing, which I still think is adorable beyond words.
♥ HyunJoong v. Park Kyung Lim danyunhaji. THREE SECOND KNOCKOUT FOR THE WIN. My love for PKL is never-ending.
♥ SS501 Xman Collection: part 1, part 2, part 3. Nice summary of all their appearances on Xman, from their 1st Story of SS501 DVD :). The description says that YoungSaeng and JungMin were also on this show, which I’m all O____O about now, since I don’t think I’ve ever seen it. *runs off to find episode* KyuJong wasn’t on this show, though :(. Which is why I’m ecstatic he now gets his very own Manwon Haengbok episode ♥.
♥ JungMin Dancing To Hyori’s Get Ya. Posting this again because it’s from Xman and cause this performance will never get old. LOL-CANO. He’s awesome. And yay for imitating Hyori! I swear, these boys have great taste.
♥ Double HJ Dance On New Xman. If you’ve seen DBSK on Happy Together, you’ll recognize the song! It was the one they were singing while all cracked out from the heat in the sauna, lmao. Wonderful performance from two very cute boys ♥. Those shiny outfits are fail, though XD.
♥ HyunJoong + YoungSaeng On New Xman. HyunJoong burns up the dance floor and YoungSaeng plays Yiruma’s Kiss The Rain on the piano sjkfdjfkldjsklfjsk. He is so, so, sooooooooo adorable. I wish he’d talk more in their shows, but as long as he doesn’t stop smiling, I’m okay with it! I have a thing for guys who play the piano. (Heechul in episode 8 of Bad Family made me die so bad sdjkfldjks.)

* Not like there’s anyone still reading at this point (omg, I’m so wordy), but anyway, these are just some of the shows and cuts that I really like from these boys. There are more shows of theirs, like their Stalker series, that I have yet to watch, so I’ll keep editing to this :).
