F.T Island

I think the first post on this blog should be about them since hello, they are our header.

Anyway! F.T Island! They are a brand-new S. Korean group. They have trained extensively for the past two years, but only debuted recently (this past June, I think!). They play their own instruments and are therefore PWNAGE. The lead singer, Hong Ki, has an amazing voice that is perfectly suited for their kind of music — sort of rockish and very powerful. It’s kind of scary how good they already are, since they’re all so young. They released their debut album, Cheerful Sensibility, recently, and every damn song on that album rocks my socks off. I haven’t liked an album in its entirety this much in a while. Here’s my favorite song of the album, Love Sick [사랑앓이].

They’re all born in the 90s. Which makes us feel really old, since all of us are way older than all of them. That still doesn’t stop us from thinking they’re really, really cute.
